STEVE BRANT CONSTRUCTION

Excellent experience using Steve. I am preparing a north Fort Worth house for sale, had just installed new wood flooring and porcelain tile, and wanted a 'professional' job done painting the base moulding to make the floors really stand out for prospective buyers (plus wanted to save my knees and back from the strain that base trim painting involved). I do not live in the Fort Worth area, so I wanted to use Angies List to ensure I contracted "great" companies as opposed to picking unknown entities from the phone book and hoping for the best.
I had 2 x Angies list companies close to my zip code come out and give me an estimate for the work, Steve won the work hands down. He was exactly on time when he came out to work up the estimate, and his crew was exactly on time the next day when the work was done. The finished job was very profession and is of a very high quality. I would not hesitate to use Steve for work again.

We couldn't be happier with the work performed by Steve Brant and his crews... they did a superb job!  We originally contacted Mr. Brant nearly a year ago to secure a bid on painting the exterior of our home... at the time, we told him that we were some months away from actually giving the "go ahead" and having the work done. Even with that in mind, Mr. Brant arrived exactly when he said he would, looked over the house, and discussed in detail our expectations. At thtat time, we also secured two other quotations... Steve Brant Construction's price was the "middle one" of the three.
When time came to have the work done, we contacted Mr. Brant again and asked him to update his price inasmuch as we had added a couple of things to the "to do" list. Agreeing on a reasonable price, we gave Mr. Brant the go ahead!  The work was scheduled, and the crew arrived on the dot and began the [dreaded] prep work. They were remarkably thorough, and with the quality of the prep work, we knew that the finished job would be excellent. And it is!
Our house has several walls that are cedar shingles (which absorb paint like a sponge!) and other walls of cedar "board and batten" construction.  After an amazingly thorough calking job (four cases of calk, I understand!), all of the "solid" cedar was painted with semi-gloss latex and all of the cedar shingles were painted with solid stain... giving excellent contrast.  The job was finished in three days, the crew cleaned up nicely, and now we have a home that looks wonderful.   My hat's off to Mr. Brant and each of his crew members... all were pleasant, friendly, and respectful.   We highly recommend Steve Brant Construction.

They did a fine job.  They were a good value for the money, it was a basic painting job on the outside of the house.

This is the second time in three months that I have used Steve. He once again did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price and was very responsive to my needs. I highly recommend Steve and his company.

Steve and his crew did a very professional job of repainting my house and removing/replacing some worn out/damaged facia board siding. He kept me informed throughout the project of his progress. I was very satisfied with his work quality and professionalism. I highly recommend his to any prospective customer.

Steve showed up on time. Really took an interest in making sure our home was in better shape when he left. I believe his work was some of the best I've had on my house.

This is the second time in just over 1 year that we've had their crew out. I don't think we could have asked for better service. The quality is top notch and the price was about half of what 2 other companies wanted for the job (but very much in line with what I thought the job was worth). Steve called before they came to make sure that we were still available today. Steve and his crew were all hard workers and very polite. All of the pieces of the paint job that they did had clean lines and caulking. The replacement of the rotting pieces was done well. They even painted the extra garage board that wasn't rotten to make sure it would match the others. To me, that's going the extra mile to make sure that the job looks great in the end. We are very pleased and will definitely be calling Steve when it's time to repaint our entire house.

They were prompt, clean and the board replacement and paint job look great. We are very happy with his work.

I made an appointment with Mr. Brant for an estimate. He was at the house at the scheduled time and gave a detailed written estimate. The following week Mr. Brant and his crew started the job. It was complete in 2.5 days and within the estimated cost he had quoted. His work was of good quality. I would use his painting service again.

They were very quick to respond to my request for an estimate. They arrived promptly for the estimate quote and gave me a written copy immediately. After we decided to use them, they were accurate with the estimated time for work to begin. Two workers arrived and completed the work in three days. They were very neat and orderly while doing the preparation and painting work. I couldn't be happier with the completed job.

I was totally pleased with this man's work. The work was exceptional & he even did work beyond the contract. He is prompt & cleans up. I couldn't have had a better experience with a house painter. I am kind of a perfectionist & this job was done very good.

They were very careful, fastidious, scraped, caulked, primed, painted. Cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. I will call him again.

Steve's assessment and written quote took less than 30 minutes. At the end of the day when I had finally chosen my contractor, he returned my call within 20 minutes. Within the hour, he had set a date for painting. The painters (four of them) had the work completely in one day, with a two hour touch-up/clean up the next morning. Outstanding job!

Great. Steve and his crew where very good. Not only did they paint the exterior but they replaced some facia and did some minor work that really made a difference. The price was good and they did the work when they said, and cleaned up afterwards.

He was focused on a quality. Did more than the original estimate was for.
