Blake and Randy both came out to check my A/C issue, while they were there they also, looked at my whole system in the house and gave me suggestions on how to keep my cooling savings down for the summer. A/C was repaired, recharged and good as gold when they left. I will have time back this fall for my heating system as it's time for an upgrade.
There customer service was 100%...
"Thank you {Member's name} for calling Osborn Heating and Cooling."
We obtained quotes from five providers, including our home warranty company, and selected Osborne A/C as the best choice for us. The owner/operator, Randy, was amazingly prompt in returning phone calls and emails, as well as showing up professionally dressed with his crew on the service date.
This bid was not the least expensive; however, the value was in the service, advice and guidance we received. Randy explained the differences in A/C sizes, SEER ratings, anticipated electric bill savings and fully detailed the pros and cons of a heat pump in Texas. Based on his overall professionalism and above-and beyond attitude, he is now our new A/C man!
We inquired about having an American Standard system installed and he told us he stopped selling those as they became cost prohibitive for a majority of consumers. Based on our interest, he reactivated his account with them in order to get a quote for us. Randy told us he was pleasantly surprised as their price point had changed and they now had a superior 17-SEER unit available at the same cost as other 16-SEER units. Randy said he'll be suggesting this brand again in the future.
His crew was polite, cleaned up as they went along and at our house to begin work every morning by 7:00am. The new ducts in the attic included him increasing the one to our bedroom by two inches, to improve the cooling factor there. We are day sleepers and it is impossible to sleep if it's over 80 degrees.
It took two days, as expected, to complete the entire job and on the second morning (today) by 9:00 am, the new unit was on and cooling. Our house is approximately 1600 square feet, single story, adequate insulation in the attic with vinyl thermopane windows. In about 30 minutes, the temperature inside decreased about 3 degrees, from 80 to 77. What an amazing thing this is!
Our last electric bill was about $225 and we are anxious to see our next one.
It is impossible for us to commend Randy and his crew sufficiently to convey our deepest appreciation for the service and value we received.
