+ -1 moreThey are very punctual and call before they come out to see if we need any interior work done. One of the office staff is very short on the phone and that is our only complaint. Other than that, we have been pleased with their service. The gentleman that comes for the work is very nice.
Description of Work: They come every month to spray around the house for pests.

+ -1 moreI like the young man who has been coming from last four years. He is very responsive and is knowledgeable. I don’t have any problems. He takes care of things. He knows what he is doing. I wouldn’t keep him I didn’t like him. His price is in limits of what the other companies charge. His responsiveness is excellent. He always gives me a notice that he is coming on a certain day and he shows up that day. I would recommend them. I would use them in the future.
Description of Work: I use Orkin Pest Control. They come four times a year. Last time, they came last month in March to do the work.

+ -1 moreAFTER ATTEMPTING TO RESCHEDULE SPRAYING, AND NO RESPONSE FROM THE OFFICE MANAGER, WE REQUESTED A REFUND OF THE $600 ON OUR ANNUAL CONTRACT, AND THE $87 WE WERE CHARGED FOR THE AUG. 05 TREATMENT THAT WAS NEVER COMPLETED. AS OF OCT. 19, WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM ORKIN. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PARTICULAR ORKIN OFFICE (NORTH RICHLAND HILLS), OR ITS TECHNICIANS TO ANYONE. AFTER SUCH A POSITIVE FIRST EXPERIENCE DURING THE INITIAL INSPECTION, AND FIRST SPRAYING, I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. MY NEXT STEP WILL BE A REPORT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
Description of Work: BI-MONTHLY SPRAYING, PER ANNUAL CONTRACT. FIRST SPRAYING, IN JUNE 05, TECHNICIAN SHOWED UP AT FRONT DOOR EARLY MORNING, HADN'T CALLED FIRST. I WAS HOME AND LET HIM WORK, BUT ASKED HIM TO CALL FIRST IN FUTURE. I'M NOT ALWAYS THERE, AND WE HAVE 3 DOGS WHO HAVE TO BE MOVED AROUND WHILE THE TECHNICIAN WORKS IN THE YARD AND HOUSE. WE NEVER SAW TECHNICIAN AGAIN. THERE WAS A BILL LEFT UNDER OUR FRONT DOOR MAT FOR A SERVICE IN AUG. 05, WHILE WE WERE ON VACATION, WITH NOTE STATING "DOGS OUT, DID WHAT I COULD DO", WHICH AMOUNTED TO SPRAYING ABOUT 300 FEET OF FOUNDATION ON OUTSIDE OF HOUSE. WE WERE BILLED FOR A COMPLETE SPRAYING REGARDLESS. NO ATTEMPT WAS MADE BY ORKIN TO TELL US WHAT HAPPENED OR TO FINISH THE JOB. WE CALLED, TRYING TO FIND OUT WHY NO ONE HAD BEEN TO OUR HOUSE IN AUG. (WE HADN'T FOUND THE BILL UNDER THE DOOR MAT) BECAUSE WE WERE HAVING INSECT PROBLEMS INSIDE THE HOUSE.

+ -1 moreSCHEDULING THE VISIT WAS EASY, AND AVAILABILITY WAS GOOD. THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED ON TIME, AND WAS VERY CONSIDERATE OF OUR 3 DOGS, ALLOWING US TIME TO MOVE THEM FROM INSIDE TO OUTSIDE, AND BACK AS HE WORKED. IT HAD RAINED EARLIER AND HE TOOK OFF HIS BOOTS AT THE FRONT DOOR, WHEN HE CAME INSIDE TO SPRAY. THE TECHNICIAN DOESN'T ACCEPT PAYMENTS, AND THE ONLY PAYMENT OPTION OFFERED WAS GIVING ORKIN A CREDIT CARD NUMBER WHEN I SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT. I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO PAY BY CHECK, AFTER THE SERVICE WAS COMPLETED. ALSO, ORKIN PEST CONTROL AND TERMITE EXTERMINATING ARE SEPARATE SERVICES, SO WE HAD TO SCHEDULE THE TERMITE SERVICE, AT ANOTHER TIME, WITH A DIFFERENT TECHNICIAN.
Description of Work: INITIAL SPRAYING AND TREATMENT FOR ALL TYPES OF INSECTS, AND RODENTS, TO BE FOLLOWED WITH ANOTHER TREATMENT IN 30 DAYS, AND THEN 1 TREATMENT EVERY OTHER MONTH. WE SIGNED UP FOR A 1-YEAR CONTRACT, COST OF $81 + TAX PER VISIT. PRICE FOR SERVICE IS BASED ON ZIP CODE, AND SIZE OF HOUSE. OUR HOUSE IS FAIRLY LARGE.
