The contractor was supposed to remodel my master bathroom and kitchen. The small bathroom was to have the tub converted to a shower with a new vanity installed. The job was to take 2-3 weeks. After the 6th week, I fired the contractor. The workers showed up sporadically - maybe once or twice a week. I talked to the owner weekly and he promised they would be 'on track', but never followed through with his promises. After I fired him, I never heard another word from him. The work they performed was of poor quality - the shower does not drain, they did not complete anything other than removing the tub and retiling the shower. They left all the cabinets, tubs, etc they removed in the front yard for the city to pick up. Luckily for me, they did not begin the kitchen demo as scheduled so the only problem I have to contend with is the bath. I redid the bathroom myself and was finished in less than a week.
