The overall experience was a good one. I would just recommend putting on paper your exact expectations, so there is no misunderstanding about the work that is expected by you or him. We love our porch and believe this company is excellent and we would use again.

Mr. Plymale showed up to look at what was needed to be done the previous week. I had a one piece fiberglass tub that I wanted torn out and replaced with a Whirlpool tub in my guest bathroom. I also wanted tile installed on the walls. He agreed to do the job at his hourly rate of $35. I had found Mr. Plymale on Craigslist originally and he stated that he had also signed up for Angie's list. My husband then decided that he could take the tub out since it was not that difficult and in the process he damaged some of the sheetrock. I schedued Mr. Plymale to come do the work on Friday, May 4. He showed up on time at 8:30 and I had an electrician here putting in the electrical plugs for the tub. The electrician was going to be done with his part within thirty minutes so that Mr. Plymale could get in the bathroom and do his part of the job, which I figured would take at least all day and then another half day to get some of the other work done. Mr. Plymale left within 15 minutes stating that he had to go take a t-shirt to his daughter at school that she needed. He said that he would be back. I waited until 11 o'clock and I called him to see what the delay was. He stated that he started thinking about me wanting the tile done on the walls and since he had recently moved to the Dallas/Fort area from Oklahoma he did not have all of his tools here and that he was driving to Oklahoma to get his tools to do the tile wall. He then told me that he would be back on Sunday to start the work. I texted him on Saturday to ask how much sheetrock and backer board for the tile would be needed and he told me to just ask the pro in the flooring department and that he was and quot;on the lakeand quot;. I did not bother him again. I was extremely skeptical about Mr. Plymale at this time and fully expected to receive a text message from his this morning and sure enough I did receive the text at 8:10 with the message and quot;job is not worth the money. I'm out. Nice to meet you. Take care. It's a business.and quot; So he blew me off. In his ad on Angie's list, he states that and quot;no job is too small. That is incorrect. I texted Mr. Plymale back that I would writing a review on Angie's list about all of this and his reply to me was and quot;you're nuts I've decided and rudeand quot; and and quot;Don't contact me anymoreand quot;. I am a professional and work for the #1 daily business newspaper in the world and have worked there since 1975. I am not nuts, nor am I rude. I have not and would never be rude to anyone who enters my house. I would not hire Mr. Plymale for any type of work due to his erratic and rude nature.
