The owners were very friendly and nice. When I picked up the clock he came out and took the time to tell me how often to change the battery and how to set the time. When I got ready to leave the shop he even picked up the clock and took it to my car.

This was my third visit. The first time he repaired my cuckoo clock which had stopped running. Worked perfectly until the hand broke while I was resetting the time. When I took it back for a new hand, they happened to have one in the shop and charged nothing to put it on. Another visit was for a different clock. He gave me 3 options for repairing it, from 30.00 to 150.00. I chose the repair which cost 75.00 and have been very happy with the results.

I have taken two clocks to this gentleman, one an inexpensive find at a shop and another an heirloom from Germany passed down to my son. Both times I was welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. McCaaslin with a warm and friendly manner. This last visit with the heirloom, they spent time showing me the workings and explaining the provenance from one of their books. It is truly a joy to visit their shop and have an excuse to talk clocks with them. They were right on line with both their estimates and time frame for the repairs, with a two-year warranty on the heirloom repair. And they have a lovely collection of interesting clocks for sale. Definitely worth the trip to North Richland Hills to meet this delightful couple of clock aficionados.

Mac has been out to the house several times to bring a Herschede Grandfather clock up to working condition. The several house calls necessary to complete the work were not charged extra. Mac has been personally interested in the work and has been diligent, professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend him.
