They didn't come back and finish a few things they missed. The work they did was great but they forgot a few things, and there was still a phone jack in the bathroom. There was one in the kitchen still, and it was always "I'm gonna" but he never did, and he never finished. The next contractor did it for me. I actually paid twice so that's not a very happy thing. I thought the price was good. I thought about how clean they were and how they covered things up. Their punctuality was great. They just didn't come back and finish.Their responsiveness was good. I thought that he was very personable and likable, and his daughter worked with him and I like her. She was very mature and run the business. What is hard to find with contractors is that they really cover things up and protect the things. When he got there, I told the woman to do this and this, and she said yes and he charged me more which I expected which I paid him, but then it didn't get finished.

Great... excellent job. Joe Martin's used better quality paint.  They cleaned up when finished. Crew was friendly and prompt.

Joe was very professional! I loved working with him. He went above and beyond on the job. He replaced a large amount of trim and drip edge. There were some additional boards that he replaced that were not on the estimate that he did for free because they were hidden by my bad trim and he didn't want to charge above the estimate. He was over $1000 cheaper than the next estimate and i'd recommend him to anyone.

Joe Martin responded to my email request for contact in a timely manner. He and I agreed to a date and time to meet at our home. He was punctual. He provided details of the services he would provide, guarantees, price, dates of service etc all in writing on a clear easy to understand form. He responded to every request and comment from us as we did a walk around of our 7 year old home. He offered, without our comment, to include a stain/varnish on the front door and to paint the garage doors to match the trim. 4 or 5 pieces of wood were noted to be needed to replaced.
We compared his services and prices with the norm and including his providing the paint of our choice he was at the least expensive end of the spectrum. We aged upon a price and he left a signed agreement (by him and not us and without a deposit).
The following day he called and asked if he could move the schedule up (North Texas winter was expected on the original date), we were glad to agree. The power wash was scheduled and carried out the following day.
The date of the painting arrived and he and his crew arrived within minutes of the scheduled time.
He confirmed with us the colors we had picked, left his crew to do the masking etc and departed for Lowe's to obtain the paint.
The careful attention of the crew to masking and other prep (scrape etc as needed) was very well done.
The painting done was professional and just what we wanted.
It turned out that a dozen or so pieces of wood (including the large pieces that surround the garage doors) and a window box needed to be replaced. He did so without any additional charge.
The clean up was of the highest quality and left no signs of the work.

Very bad job.
