Jenco is now using name "Clear Choice." We hired Play-in the- Dirt to redo our patio, regrade our back yard and to put down sod. We also needed some changes to the sprinkler system and the landscaper said that they worked with Jenco. When they looked at the system, Jenco said that whole system needed to be replaced. We asked for a diagram and eventually got a rough sketch even after we provided a dimensioned layout of the house, lot and existing system. It was worthless because actual didn't match the drawing. Landscaper said that all was okay. We should have checked detail by detail but we didn't which was our fault. Sprinklers in beds disregarded how we watered a major flower bed. Plants in pots didn't get any water and all beds on side of house and in back yard are on same circuit causing most to be overwatered when flowers get what they need. One sprinkler head is directly behind a tree/bush so it cannot water the yard in that area. Several boxes are as much as a foot below grade making it difficult to mow in these areas. One area has too many heads and one side has none. We also had a problem with our backlow valve and could not contact Jenco for help. Old one worked well for over 20 years -- new one was replaced in April. Do not use Jenco or whatever they are calling themselves now.

He was polite and nice but he wasn't really knowledgeable in the soaker hose system. Our shrubs began dying and I need to hire someone else to fix it.

They gave us a good price. Installed the irragation. I had to have them come out multiple times because the lead manager Kyle never reviewed the work that his workers did and they would continue to leave the job incomplete and the manager would tell me the job was complete. Kyle did not show up for appointments on time. I would have to call and ask if he was still coming, he would reschedule and again fail to show up and not call that  he needed to reschedule.
The final blow was when i kept telling the company that one of the islands they supposedly had a line going to was not working correctly. I could tell because the tree was dieing. Jenco tried to tell me I was overwatering the tree and it was all my fault the tree was dieing. The owner of the company Frank stated that the person who delivered the tree abused the tree during the delivery process, that's why it had dead leave.
I called another irragtion company to come out and look at the problem. It was discovered that Jenco installed a sprinkler head and a drip line in this area but never tied it into the system so it was not getting any water. I took pictures of what the other irrigation company exposed as the problem, sent Kyle the pictures. They refuse to respond to the issue.
Would not recommend this company to anyone

We had a leak in our sprinkler line that we could not find.  The company had 2 people come out.  One spent most of the time in the truck, while the other found the leak and repaired it.  That took about 45 min.  30 min into this, they were both in the truck.  I asked what they were doing, and they said waiting for the glue to dry.  Since they were waiting, I asked them to check the rest of the sprinklers.  They waited for a bit, then one guy filled the hole and the other guy checked the sprinklers.  This took 75 min.  The fellow showed me several sprinklers that had leaks and reset the timer for the sprinkler.  This took him to  90 min.  Go the bill and it showed 130 per hour for 2 hours.  I'm a physician and make quite a bit less than this.  He stated that it was this high because the company sent out 2 guys.  I spent a good portion of time watching this and 1 guy could have done this in 2 hours.  This is the second time we feel we have been overcharged for services from Jenco.  There were different crews each time and in both situations, they sat in the truck for the "glue to dry" - one guy did this for over an hour.  The manager is out of town til Monday (it's Thursday at noon).  Will not use again.  I don't mind paying for quality work, but this seems to be intentional overcharging.

They have been responsive and I think they have fair prices. Every time we have an irrigation problem, we call them.

I would recommend them. They are really good. We have used them several times.

Very fast and professional. I was concerned as I had them come before I had to go to work on Friday (my work started normally at 10:00 AM), but they were done by 9:45 AM even with all the work they had to do, so I was very happy. System has worked great since then!

We have an ongoing service contract with them and they have been consistently reliable.

They did a good job, a little expensive, this was a very big job. They replaced the electrical wiring on one of the boxes and replaced numerous sprinkler heads. He also reset the control box and told me that he would go over the explanation of everything with my husband if he wanted.
