Jim Watson and his business partner, Carlos Magana, have more than 20 years of experience in construction and remodeling and a true passion for seeing clients’ dreams come to fruition. JC Custom Remodeling, a full-service contracting company, specializes in kitchen, bathroom and home additions and renovations — Jim serves as the business manager, while Carlos uses his expertise in framing, plumbing, electrical and project management to bring their clients’ plans from concept to completion. The duo and their team of 15 dedicated employees pride themselves on their professionalism and their policy of keeping all trades in-house so that every homeowner knows who will be going in and out of their home. JC Custom Remodeling makes it a priority to discover clients’ design aesthetics and preferences in order to showcase their style in the completed project. “We listen to what clients want and work hard to make their visions happen,” Jim says. “We spend a lot of time communicating with them to really find out who they are and what makes their house a home. Things like lighting, faucets, appliances and even colors are what make kitchen and master bathroom spaces personal. Once we get these elements right, the house feels like a home.”
