Jim was fantastic! Very capable and competent. Corresponded over text, was available a few days after I contacted him, brought all supplies needed, worked efficiently and carefully. He installed the heavy mailbox post securely and drilled holes to secure the mailbox, even bringing an extra mailbox plate in case it was needed. Unfortunately the acrylic cracked a little in one place, when Jim was drilling the box top to the mailbox base, so he sealed it with clear sealant and added an extra washer. I asked him to cut the size of the screws showing on the base of the mailbox and he did so promptly and without complaint. Then I asked if he built fences, and he said he'd take a look. On the spot, he had a great idea for how to repair the fence section that had fallen down and a gate that had been hard to open due to wear. For a little extra money, he was happy to fix the fence section and the gate, as well as repair an electrical cord I had accidentally cut through months ago when trimming hedges. Jim is SUPER HANDY, responsive, and full of great ideas to fix items that need a little help rather than a major re-do. He's saved me a lot of time and headaches by having the skills to fix a lot of different home issues. I highly recommend him for his professionalism and broad capabilities. When I asked if he knew anyone he would trust with the landscaping work, he even kindly sent me a recommendation for a person that may be able to help with landscaping. Thanks Jim!
