Handyman Quick Fix Service

Kept me informed with each step of the project.  I knew the materials he would buy, the approximate price of the materials, the approximate amount of time for each part of the project.  He was on time, came when he said he would and was always courteous.
Since there were many parts to the project and the weather interrupted a few times, I paid for the project as some work was completed.  The invoices were thorough detailing the price of the materials separate from the labor. The preferred method of corresponding was texting which worked out great.
I have asked him to return when he has time to caulk around the outside of my skylights and to clean and seal the stone steps up to my front porch. He has done work for many of my neighbors who are very happy with his work.

Tonie repaired my carport where it had shifted lower than grade due to clay soil, moved the end support pole to a stronger section of concrete and reattached the carport to the house where it had pulled away. He shored up the existing driveway under the carport to keep it from sinking again. He was timely, efficient, and followed through on all he said he would do. His bill was very fair and I plan to hire him again soon.

We had just bought a new house. While having a lot of work done to make it ready to move into, the carpeting installers discovered that the threshold and framing around an atrium door downstairs was completely rotted out and would not allow them to do a proper job of carpet installation.
Tonie came as quickly as he could when I called him, which I appreciated greatly. He discovered the problem that was allowing water incursion under the door frame of the door, and he came up with a great solution. He went to the Home Depot store to pick up the supplies, and set to work tearing out the old threshold and replacing it, as well as sealing the windows on either side of the door to prevent future water incursion.
While he was busy doing that, the carpeting installers found the problem with an atrium door on the balcony upstairs. Tonie came to look at it, and realized that the problem was going to require a much more extensive repair that he was able to handle. In fact, we ultimately had to have a completely new atrium door installed and sub-flooring repaired, as well as repairs to the decking of the balcony, so he was definitely right about that, and I appreciate his honesty in not trying to do a patch-work job when something more substantial was needed.
Tonie is a great problem solver. He doesn't try to get you to completely rebuild something when all that is needed is repair, but he is quick to realize when the situation calls for more extensive repair to do it right. He treats my home as if it were one he was going to live in. He is honest, reliable, responsive, and meticulous. Highly recommend.

Tonie did an excellent job. He was so careful in working on the crib assembly and the moving of furniture. He did it much faster and with better results than I believe I would have obtained by doing it myself.

When he came this week to clean our gutters he worked very diligently and carefully as well. It had been quite a long time since the gutters had been cleaned out and they were badly in need of it. He had to clean about 225 linear feet of guttering with downspouts and the mesh and quot;gutter guardand quot; on top. He added support for one section of guttering, and he had to completely remove one downspout to clean it out because it was so terribly clogged. He ran the hose in all gutters to make sure they were removing water properly. He cleaned up everything afterward.

Overall, it is a great to have peace of mind knowing that the gutters are now ready for bad weather. To make it better, Tonie is a very nice person who is very professional and takes pride in what he does. He is a real find, as so many handymen seem to want to do only and quot;bigand quot; jobs. Tonie is willing to tackle the little things that you keep putting off because you think you'll get around to it and because you think a handyman would cost too much.
