GILLEY'S RESTORATION

I have an older bedroom set that I wanted to have updated. The set is about 60 years old and needed to have some marks/scratches fixed. Also the color was antique white with gold trim and I wanted an updated color. I found a picture of furniture that had been refinished in a two tone gray and asked Joe if this bedroom set could be refinished in those colors. Joe said he could do that and showed me a selection of gray colors to choose from. The results are amazing! Joe not only did an excellent job with the colors but he managed to get all imperfections fixed. The bedframe and headboard look absolutely beautiful . Joe does expert, professional work and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs furniture repair and refinishing.

After my initial contact with another repairman, then tryingto get a response in vain for 2 weeks, I finally called Joe Gilley and sent him a couple of pictures of my job. He thoughtfully explained all aspects of the repair via telephone as soon as he looked the pics over and we set an appointment for him to come to my home to do the repair within just a couple of days. He had quoted me a price over the phone that seemed more than fair, predicated upon no major surprises, and he stuck to it. He was very friendly and professional and really did a quality job, and completely cleaned up after he was finished doing the job in my garage as it lightly rained out. He knows what he's doing. I will be calling Joe at Gilley's Restoration for more such work when any is needed and can certainly recommend him withour resevation.

I'm so glad to meet this craftsman, and won't hesitate to call him again with any furniture repair I need. Mr. Gilley is very knowledgeable, and being prompt and professional is always a plus. He added larger bolts to the pedestal base to keep the table top from rocking, and we discussed a "retrofit" he could add in the future if this wasn't as stable as I needed.

They do excellent work with a fair price.

I contact Joe on a Thursday and he came on Monday to do the repair. Took about one hour and results were excellent. He also touched up some other small scratches that were not part of the primary damaged area. Will definitely use again.

The work was excellent. The refinished work looks great and bends in very well with existing finish. Thes people enjoy what they do and do it very, very well. They carefully sanded, and hten blended colors to match existing finishews.
