Came over after 1 month (and me threatening to sue him), and looked at floor in living room. Agreed to fix it at his expense. I offered to provide replacement vinyl, which I thought was more than generous. After another month (2 months total) and countless excuses, I am fed up with waiting. Will have another contractor tear-out old vinyl, float floor, and install new flooring.
I will see John in court. Beware!!!
"That entire story is untrue. Responded immediately. He had medical issues that kept him from letting us finish work on time and he rescheduled several times on us. We completed work to his satisfaction and he even signed completion of work order and issued check to us. Customer did not want to spend money on floor prep to insure proper installation of flooring. We did what we were told to do by him and went back to do all repairs immediately when he called us. We had to then install proper leveling after explaining to him that this is only way to do correctly and for it to look good, he agreed and we finished work and it was satisfactory to both parties."
