Description of Work: Based on a friend's recommendation, I contacted the company for an estimate on vinyl siding for my house. Their estimate was $10K higher than the next highest estimate (I got 4), and the salesperson indicated that I was getting special pricing because a sign would go in my yard and they would use photos in their presentation book. The salesperson seemed unable to answer questions outside of his usual pitch. For example, he couldn't discuss the R value of his product.

+ -1 moreSales person convinced me that it would be less expensive in the long run to have vinyl siding installed, and I agreed. When I asked about hail damage we were told that if the siding was damaged by hail or even a basketball from a kid that they would replace it at no cost to us. After picking the colors I was told that the installers would start on a specific date, and they did. What I found out after they started the install was that the trim would be fabricated out of aluminum and 2x4s. When I asked about the warranty and durability when compared to the vinyl, I was told that it was just as good and that it was covered by their warranty. Within a Month, we had hail damage to the fabricated aluminum trim. When I called All American, I was told that I had to call my insurance company. When I called them, I was told the same. They did however send me a claim package. Overall, All American Builders did NOT honor THEIR warranty. The installers, however, were great.
Description of Work: Removed all hardboard siding and replaced with vinyl siding.

+ 1 moreWhat a striking difference in the before and after appearance of our home. Not only does it look new and fresh, but we are delighted that is it is also maintenance free. The quality workmanship was completed in a professional manner and the experience made us glad that we used American Builders.
Description of Work: All American replaced all the wood siding, window trim, door trim, patio cover, fascia, and gutters on our house. We prefer not to disclose the cost.
