We hired Acme for several reasons: they don't play the 'we will pay your deductible for you' game and they used GAF products. Steven Gregory was very professional, friendly and helpful. He's a no-pressure guy yet he wants to get things done. He understands the balance of project management and customer service, especially when your customer has never navigated an insurance claim or replaced a roof before. I always felt he knew what was best for us, as customers and homeowners. He was attentive, allowed me to primarily use email and text to document our conversations, and ensured the subcontractors fulfilled their requirements. The roof replacement took one day and the subs were very nice and cleaned up well. in fact, all the subs were very nice and easy to work with. No one really wants to do this kind of project but Steven made it as pleasant as possible. He understands the professional and technical aspects of his field. Kudos

It was an excellent service. One thing I appreciated was their attention to detail. I have a large roof and it was a two day job. At the end of each day they used a magnet rake to pick up any left over debris. The crew arrived on time, they were done on day two as expected. The owner came out and inspected the roof to make sure it was correct. They worked on the siding for hail damage, then painted the house back to the original color. I have had a neighbor even request me for their information because of how great my home looks. I hired them again because I needed assistance with running a line for a vent. They came out and for a reasonable price installed a vent that goes from my cook stove and through the roof of my two story home. I also have another home with a metal roof and used them to replace that as well. Even though these roofs were installed with years in between, he still has the same crew which is nice. The fact that the owner Jody comes out to inspect and the crew does a fantastic job that tells me that they have great teamwork and that quality starts at the top. I have recommended him to friends.

Excellent from start to finish. Jody, the owner, contacted us that Saturday and met with us on Monday am. We had an estimate before he left. We spoke with the office manager, Erica, several times. She was always helpful, answering our questions and helping with communications. Despite this being a time when there was so much demand for their services, they were able to get the work done by Wednesday evening, no damage to landscaping, complete clean-up at the end of the job and most important put in place a solution to a problem that had occurred before (a leak below a dead valley). Jody also provided a transferable warranty to the new owners. It could not have gone better.

Dwayne came out to to an initial estimate for the work. Another roofing company said it would cost $525 to replace both turbines, which seemed outrageous to me for what would be maybe an hour or so of work tops. Dwayne said he would do the work for $250. We were able to use the coupon listed on Angie's List for $100 off for a total labor cost of $150, a SIGNIFICANT discount compared to the previous quote. He did the work over two days. He replaced one turbine to keep the roof watertight (I had taken the top off of one but was unable to put the replacement on myself) and came back a few days later to replace the other. He even offered to spray paint the tops so they blended in with the roof better (we supplied the turbines and black spray paint to cut costs and he took care of the rest). He also pointed out some hail damage on our roof so we could be aware of it for the future. So in less than two hours total, we had two new black turbines for about $225 total. If we need any more work on our roof done in the future, we will definitely be giving Dwayne a call again!

When I first got in touch with Randy at ACME Roofing, I was looking for a 3rd bid to have our flat roof (which was in disrepair) replaced with a new layer of modified bitumen. Randy was very responsive and came out quickly to bid the job. He spent a lot of time explaining the particular complications our roof had (no pitch, ponding, windows close to roofline) and suggested that TPO would be a better material to replace the roof with. I did my own research which suggested that even though it was a more expensive material, yes, TPO was the way to go. I got more quotes to confirm that ACME's bid for the TPO roof was competitive. Once we were ready to schedule the job, Randy came out to meet with us and got us on the schedule within a week. He kept me updated with pictures when they found rotted decking underneath the existing roof. They were able to finish the job within a day. The crew was polite and did a good job cleaning up afterwards, sans a few cigarettes that were left in the grass. ACME's industry qualifications, responsiveness, and exceptional warranty compared to the numerous other roofers I was in touch with made me feel comfortable hiring them for this job. Recommended!

It didn't because they didn't apparently do the repairs (after not even showing up for the first appointment and never giving us an update as to why, forcing us to chase them as to why they never showed and make another appointment) the first time and they refused to do any work the second time, nor did they keep us in any loop on this planet or any other in this galaxy as to when the person would (supposedly) show up to FINALLY DO THE WORK FOR WHICH THEY WERE ORIGINALLY HIRED, and when the person finally showed after over two hours he refused to work and ran away when told we were mad about being left hanging so long.

Acme came out to our house promptly & provided an estimate. We agreed to the contract price & requested them to do repair. They came out within the following couple of days & did the repair. Work crew was thorough & courteous.
