Advanced Landscapes offers a complete line of landscaping and irrigation services in Killeen, Temple, Belton, Copperas Cove and all of Central Texas. We specialize in residential and commercial projects servicing all types, large or small. Our owner Shawn Griffin has a degree in horticulture, and is licensed to provide all levels of service (License #9006). Count on our expertise for services such as: • Sprinkler installation and repair • Backflow testing • Computer aided designs • Privacy fencing • Retaining walls • Landscape lighting • Waterscape installation • Landscape maintenance (mowing, trimming, etc.) Complete landscape construction is our specialty. Then when the installation is over, let our maintenance team keep it beautiful all year long with regular mowing, trimming, edging, weeding and fertilization. I am only writing this review to for warn anyone thinking of using this company. Make sure you get everything in writing. To include the start date. I have used this company for years and finally let them go a couple months ago. Dealing with them was a headache. Almost never showed up by the designated time. Always cut corners. Ex. Not laying sod between fence 4x4 post and telling me it would grow in. Not rolling the grass or rolling the grass with a near empty roller The sprinklers where always hitting the home and sometimes caused water to infiltrate in to the home. There were times could not get into or out of a car because they were shooting all over the drive and sidewalks. In addition he tries not to warranty any of the tress bushes or shrubs. And always has an excuses as to why it is not he's fault.

This company did an overall good job.  The only exception is that they basically cut my crape myrtle in half after I discussed with the owner that I did not want it trimmed down that far.  The owner apologized and stated that he communicated my desire to his crew and that he would have a talk with them.

I chose Advanced Landscapes after Angie's list reviews and a referral from a friend. It took them a while to get back in contact with me after leaving several phone messages. They did eventually come by and plant the flowerbeds two months after our initial contact. In the planting process I believe one of the irrigation hoses got damaged. I did notify the company of that, and so far have not heard anything back in regards to repairing it. So overall, they did eventually do all the work I asked them to do, but I feel like it's pulling teeth getting a response when contacting them, which leads me to think that they may be too short staffed. Since there are other landscapers that service our area and are more prompt, I will probably not be hiring Advanced Landscapes again. They are fine if you don't mind waiting a while to hear back or waiting to get your work done.

Shawn and his crew installed a sprinkler system, both front and back. Their estimate was on the low end of the estimates I received from various landscape companies. Installation was completed in a day and a quick response when I discovered a busted pipe a few days later. The bust was of no fault of theirs but a rapid response got things repaired that morning and everything functioning perfectly. I'd go to them again for future work before anyone else.

I have a regular service guy who comes in and takes care of the yard and do everything. They do fine cleaning and landscaping. I just received a quote from them for a fencing job the other day. I have not told them to go ahead with that yet. You can call and talk to them and tell them what you want them to do to and they will come out and look at the yard, give you a quote and everything is paid on line. They will come out and do your yard, you need not be there. You will get an e-mail saying that your bills are ready so you go on line, they will you a pass word, you log in, make your payment on line and when you come out you will get an e-mail. It is really low maintenance, maintenance. They are very user friendly and dependable. As for punctuality I always get my yard serviced the day they say they are going to do it. I will continue to use their services.
