I wanted a long term solution to problems with fading and flaking for my home’s exterior. Texas Rhino Shield advertised this solution, so I gave the area rep, Anthony, a call. He came to my house in a couple of days at the promised time for an evaluation and estimate. My home is a small house with stucco in the front and siding in the back. Rhino Shield is more expensive than conventional paint, but I was pleased with the estimate Anthony gave me. He told me that they had a 4-6 week backlog before they could begin, but he called in 2-1/2 weeks to tell me they were ready to start. Juan, the foreman, and Alfredo came out on the next Tuesday morning and did the prep work (pressure washing, scraping, caulking and masking). The next morning, they confirmed my color choices and began paint work. They spent a LONG day, but finished work on Wednesday evening about sunset. They did a good job cleaning up, and the house looks great! I would definitely recommend Texas Rhino Shield to my neighbors, friends and family. I am pleased with this product, the workmanship and the honesty and professionalism of the staff.

BEWARE! Read warranty BEFORE you pay. What is sold is different than the warranty. Do NOT sign completion certificate and be sure to retain 10% for the full 30 days after they say the job is complete as is your right by Texas Law (read back of contract) or you may never get them to come back to finish the job or fix flaws. Horrible service after they get your money. Rated F by BBB.

Great product as I had them paint my home a couple of years earlier. Horrible service and customer service this time! Had to call and remind them I was awaiting contract. Even the franchise owner who said he would called failed to call me. Long delays between contact ... made me think they do not need the business. Be careful if you use them. I ended up cancelling the contract ... to which they did not even respond!

I just had Rhino Shield out to quote painting my home - 30 Aug 2014. The distributor, Rhino Shield of Central and South Texas, is out of New Braunfels, Texas. The "Project Consultant" was nice and professional and told me he was going to inspect the outside of my home, make a hand drawing of the exterior and then he had a "30 minute PowerPoint" to explain Rhino Shield's process and warranty.
When I set-up the meeting, I was not informed of any PowerPoint presentation. When the "Project Consultant" finished his inspection and drawing and was ready to set-up his laptop and make his presentation, I politely refused. I told him that I had spent quite a bit of time on-line reading about Rhino Shield and I just wanted to know the cost for his company to "Rhino Shield" my home. He refused to provide me with a quote, became visibly angry that I was not letting him into my home to do his presentation and he stalked down the driveway and drove off.
I should also include this - when he arrived at my home, he parked in the driveway, blocking any egress by my car in front of him. When was the last time you had a contractor come to your home for an initial quote and they parked in your driveway? That type of action is VERY presumptive (a bit too "familiar") and it is a first, for me.
That is my experience with Rhino Shield of Central and South Texas.
