New Braunfels Irrigation & Landscaping

Jeremiah has been my irrigation service provider in New Braunfels for 4 years and I recently purchased a home in San Antonio. He has a few commercial accounts in San Antonio and worked me in on one of his days in San Antonio to come and inspect the irrigation system since I was not familiar with it. As always, Jeremiah goes above and beyond. He had a few issues with his commercial accounts that day which caused him to run behind, but he made sure he came by the house even though it caused him to get back to New Braunfels later that evening. He thoroughly inspected all zones and the irrigation system checked out fine; only a few areas that need work, but he said it could easily wait until the Spring. He also un-installed an outdated integrated fertilizer and winterized it for me. He had given me options of what to do with it and I ultimately chose to uninstall to a certain point so that I could put in a new fertilizer system in the Spring. It was quite a mammoth piece of tubing and pump, so he was careful to salvage what he could and tear down the rest.

I needed to have a backyard sprinkler system to help maintain the foundation of the house due to drought conditions and being that I was preparing to turn the home into an investment property. I went out for three bids and NB Irrigation was best overall price considering type of system and warranty that was given. I was quoted cheaper prices, but the layout was not as robust and would not have accomplished the watering needs of the foundation. Jeremiah came out to expect and gave me several options of sprinkler systems. He understood that I did not want to invest a lot of money since I was turning the home into an investment property, but at the same time, needed to have a sufficient system to protect the house and be of good quality for tenants. Jeremiah did all the work himself. He worked from morning til evening and kept the worksite clean. He also went the extra mile to make sure there weren't ugly wires hanging from the exterior of the house when he had to integrate the wiring to the control box. It required extra drill bits and "snaking" through the garage walls. I couldn't be happier with the results.

I had looked up another company when I couldn?t reach them; they had done very good work in the past, and so when they called, I actually canceled with the new sprinkler company. When we called them up, his secretary or assistant on the phone quoted a certain price, and said that that was for everything. When he came out, he ended up charging an additional price for his time, even though that wasn?t part of the quote; it probably would have made it higher than anyone else?s price. He showed up a day late. His secretary told us that it was because he had to go to a funeral but he didn?t know anything about a funeral; he said his secretary had scheduled him for the second day. We were getting lied to and we should have sent him away but we had used them for a long time, and we felt really good about them. I knew that their previous owner had passed away and the new guy that came out was the owner, and we thought that we would give him a chance. I was standing at the kitchen window doing dishes when I saw him walking to the truck like he was carrying something. I thought that he was carrying his tools to the truck. I didn?t really think about it but it made me feel really uncomfortable. So I walked into the garage, and he couldn?t have been ruder with me. I knew something was up. I asked my husband to just be out there with him. We had just bought a grinder - it was still in the box - to do some work on our garage and it was sitting right by where he was working. It was not there when he left. We didn?t immediately suspect him. We searched high and low thinking that he may have misplaced it. When my husband called, he refused to take the call. Finally, we got through to him. My husband told him that our grinder was missing, and he was just smirking on the phone. He knew that we knew he took it. It was just a really bad experience. We can?t prove it except that it was right there and then it wasn?t, and he was the only person in our garage. This was the first time that something like this had ever happened to us, and I was really appalled. The thing that he installed didn?t work great either. We would never use them again.

We scheduled an appointment a week ago. The technician was supposed to be out this morning between 8 and 10. We called when it got late and we hadn't heard from anyone. We were told that the technician scheduled to our house today had a personal emergency and would call us later when he was on his way, he was running late. It is now 6pm, no one has called, no one came out. a complete waste of my day.

Bob Atwood (owner) came to my Mother-in-Law's house to give us and estimate on a lawn sprinkler and he was the lowest estimate I received. He did an excellent job!

The crew was at our house with all equipment at six thirty in the morning, as agreed. They all seemed too personable, and professional. We were surprised how little damage was done to the lawn. We could hardly tell any work had been done at all. The whole system was up and running before the day was through. Our lawn is always green these days, and we don't have to worry about turning it on or off.
