New Braunfels Interior Design Services

Told over the phone that she is able to handle interior remodels, design work and reconstruction/renovations Diane told us she could come over to see the home and it would be free.  After the appointment we discovered that she could only recommend a handyman service, which she has never used, to contact us concerning the project.  This is a huge remodel, and we made it clear we wanted architectural approval prior to the construction.  
She completely lied to us over the phone, implying that she does all of what we were looking for.  After the "free" consult - she was more interested in our art work on the walls at this point - she asked for $100.  I and my husband were puzzled and I asked her, "you mean as a deposit for design?"  She said yes, for the design, said that she would use it after talking to the contractor over the project.   I followed up the next day after her consult (peeping at my house is not a consult), reminding her that we interviewed her and to send us an estimate and cost evaluation per our original request.  She replied back that her rates are $100/hour for design.  That's all she said!  We did not ask for design, we asked for her rates as an architect on the CAD work for a preliminary layout of a remodeling of our veranda to add a bathroom and enclosed space off of our bedroom.  She completely ignored this and only now mentions interior decorating....
A week later she emails us that we have to contact the contractor (he supposedly has been trying to get a hold of us - yeah, right.  Not a call or email from him!)  and that he will take over the project from here, and to contact her when we are ready to pick out bathroom tile.  I took another look at the website and realized that Diane is not on the site, and is not a registered or licensed interior decorator or architect like she said she is.
