The crew who remodeled my kitchen were amazing in their construction skills and people skills. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the whole process. Answered questions and made suggestions. I would hire this company again 100%.

Carlos, Alex, and Sue Mercado have been working on 2 large projects in my home and, if they are willing, I will continue using them for additional projects in the future. They are professional, honest, attentive to my needs, and friendly to work with. I have a background of 43 years in the legal profession and a father and husband who spent their entire careers building custom residential homes and various types of commercial buildings. I know quality in construction when I see it. After my husband’s death, I felt comfortable tackling renovations that we had long planned to do and the Mercados fit into my comfort zone of “working with family” and striving for quality construction. The Mercados do use subcontractors and they have also been professional and friendly and do quality work. Carlos works well with the subcontractors and addresses any issues of miscommunication, expectations, and quality that arise. I have received many compliments on the beauty and quality of the renovations. My first project included: (1) removing all floor covering, replacing wooden subfloor where needed and installing new commercial vinyl plank floor covering, (2) converting carpeted stairs to stained oak steps with painted risers and adding wainscoting in stair area, (3) upgrading all 2 ½ bathrooms with removal of wallpaper, texturing and painting sheetrock, converting old 3 ft. shower into 8 ft. onyx shower (Master Bath) with multiple washing stations and bench seat, converting tub/shower combo to a large walk-in onyx shower (Guest Bath), and construction of new custom-built maple vanities and storage cabinets with quartz countertops, and (4) painting of bedrooms. My second project included: upgrading the kitchen by (1) resurfacing existing custom-built cabinets with maple wood doors and new drawers, (2) removing old countertops and installing new quartz countertops, backsplash, and sink, (3) removing wallpaper, texturing and painting sheetrock, and (4) installing new dishwasher, vent hood, and under counter lighting.

Remodel was started on Sept. 19 and completed on Nov. 14. We told Carlos that the remodeling must be done at least 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and he delivered. They had to completely gut my kitchen to enlarge the pantry and install new custom cabinets. The guest bath remodel was done simultaneously. His crew (Victor, Angel, Luis and Travis) were very talented and a pleasure to work with. The cabinetmaker, Rueben, was very meticulous in measuring for my custom cabinets and we worked together on deciding types and placement of cabinets and drawers. I chose a very expensive quartzite counter top, but the fabricator did an excellent job of cutting and installing it. I really appreciated that both Carlos Mercado and his wife Sue were very responsive when I had a question or needed to speak with them. I am very pleased with my new kitchen and bath.
