Jim's Air Conditioning, Heating and Electrical Service

So happy to have found Jim! He is an honest Pro. Very knowledgeable, great customer service and does a good job with reasonable pricing. Helped educate me on AC usage. Will definitely use again.

Jim goes above and beyond for his customers. He gave me the best possible price last year for a new system, and he and his crew installed it quickly and perfectly. I recently had an issue with my A/C not running correctly. I text Jim about it at 9p and he responded immediately that he would be happy to come by the following day to take a look. Very long story short, I was doing some home improvements and had "stopped up" the AC drain line in the bathroom which led to the issues. He told me the situation could have been exponentially worse if I had not called him in time. He then took extra time to explain things to me and put in a new SC filter. Best part? He did not charge me for any of this-although I told him I would be happy to pay. He's a good guy that has many years of experience and really cares about his customers. Highly recommend to anyone needing a new system or a repair.

He did the best job ever. Other companies were not close to this guy and he was a third of the price of another competitor. I would highly recommend them and I will definitely hire them again.

Jim explained what was wrong with our system and what needed to be done and why. He is very honest and will even leave the old parts with you, so you know he's not doing unnecessary repairs. He's very friendly, quick to respond, and his prices are very reasonable.

It was Saturday on Memorial Day weekend and my tenant's air conditioner wasn't working. She was recovering from knee surgery. Jim responded immediately. Being experienced and licensed, he explained how air conditioners work. I was concerned about my warranty and he contacted warranty supplier to acquire parts. Difficult to do on a holiday weekend. He arrived quickly, fixed the problem with no additional holiday charges. I appreciated not going thru a call center and Jimmie was knowledgeable, friendly and ready to help.

About a week ago we noticed one evening that the A/C was not cooling so gave them a call the next morning. They arrived at the house about two hours later and quickly went to work. They had to replace some parts on the condenser outside but had everything working and the house cooling down again in about an hour.

Working with Jim was a wonderful experience. Very professional, courteous, on time and knows what he is doing. Outstanding service. He actually listens to the customer and suggests the best solution, reasonably priced, and then delivers it. If Jim is around, I don't think I would be looking for any other A/C company ever. And, yes, I had several quotes, and his was the lowest cost. After it was all done, I am convinced that I've got the best service as well.

Jimmie gave us a price quote very detailed and easy to understand . Jimmie is punctual and excited to get the job done. He showed my husband and I his credentials and license, we new we were doing business with a professional. He is very good at running all test to make sure system runs safe and efficiently. Jimmie is a happy and professional person . We will definitely hire Jim's A.C and Heating services again as well as recommend him to friends and neighbors.

I have been using Jimmy's services for 25 years already, He had installed my air conditioning and had maintained it since then. He had been great and does a wonderful job, and he is always prompt. Since he relocated to New Braunfels, I was searching for a reliable air conditioning company but I would prefer Jimmy's services. I am Very pleased with his work, and if he had not relocated his residence then I would have used his service longer. I highly recommend him to anyone who would his services.

He was punctual, courteous and quick to do the work. He made sure the unit was properly cooling before he accepted any payment (even the ordering of the unit did not require any money down!) He was informative and allowed me to inspect the job while explaining what he was doing. He also answered my phone calls each time I called to check the progress. I would use him again. I did not price check other AC units, but I do feel I got a fair price, not a super deal but not overpriced either. I am content with the cost.

We have used him several times. He is always on target with his diagnosis and looks out for his customers. He prioritizes his service based on a customers needs and is always fair and honest. I will wait to have him get to us rather than go to anyone else. He came in and checked the whole system and recommended the proper repairs and then filled up the unit. Everything was done correctly and at a good price.

Jimmy Burleigh is a dependable, friendly, and honest repairman. He is very
personable and willing to spend the time to educate and listen to his
customers. I was very impressed with the initial visit after he
explained to me how the different components of my A/C system work and
some of the pitfalls to watch out for. He even recharged my refrigerant
line without charging me a dime. Mr. Burleigh went the extra step
of following up with me later in the day and a week afterward just to
make sure my house was still cooling. He gave me a fair quote for a new
evaporator coil and got it installed in a couple of hours. Very
courteous and professional service. I highly recommend doing business
with J&K Air Conditioning & Electrical Services!

It went well. Everything got repaired thoroughly and was in excellent working condition after the work was done. He did an incredible job and has been taking care of my family for years. He is prompt, honest, does excellent work and I would recommend him to anyone that needs any work done on the AC or the Heater.

I needed help getting my A/C fixed and he told us to find someone else and hung up on us.  They knew my house was flooding every day and they never came back.

I am always pleased with Jimmie! He has good customer service. He is very professional, honest and punctual. He treats you as if you are family. He is reasonable with his prices on his services and explains if he has to do anything - before he does it. i highly recommend this company!

He is very personable, prompt, and honest. He takes his time. He doesn't try to sell you more than what you need. He always tries to do the best thing for you at the most reasonable cost. He always gives an estimate first. It's his business and he got a long line of long term customers from other neighborhood, and I know he is always looking to get more business. So, I thought I would put him on Angie's List because he is so good. He does have a crew and he oversees them personally. The crew is very friendly, they do speak English.

He always tries to do the best job possible for the least amount of money. He is very personal. He does an excellent job.

I called Jimmy on Monday with the a/c drain stopped up. He showed up at 9:00 am, cleared the blockage. checked and added small amount of freon. He located contactor on condensing unit was burn't, and replaced it. I have used Jimmy through the years that he has been in business (8 to 9 years). There is just not enough nice things that I can say about Jimmy.
