They met us as a couple - our original bid was way over priced and they did reduce it by approximately 30,000 - with changes made to the plan  Josh seemed unsure of the best way to handle the foundation - which was the first hint that we had a problem.  Then, the wood for the framing was left out in the rain, molded and was installed prior to us noticing the mold.  The mold had to be remediated and we have a state cert for that.  However, the time it took to have the remediated cost us 2 months additional in an apartment.  The cabinet maker was horrible and the cabinets are a big disappointment.  Josh could figure out how to install the tub we had purchased at the beginning of the job - due to the plumbing drain needing to be placed properly.  We got down to the end of the project, and the plumbing hardware would not work for the tub, so we ended up with something that is hard to use, difficult to reach and generally we didn't get the look we wanted, because he wasn't listening to what we asked him to do. 
The biggest disappointment was the lack of a warranty  We paid cash for our home - we did't have a bank to go through .  My husband was awesome and made sure we got lein releases from every sub, so at least we know that the bills have been paid and no one can sue us.  Others in our neighborhood are not so lucky.Without the warranty we have spent over 2000.00 repairing our trane a/c unit  Not to mention the other minor repairs we have had to do ourselves.  When you pay this much for property it should be done right.
