This is the second time they have done electrical work for us. They are very good to work with, much less expensive than two other companies I received prices from. We had bought two fluorscent lights but they pointed out that the one only needed a part and a new bulb, which they carry with them and they could save us a good deal of money doing that and we could return the unneeded light for reund. I recommend them highly.

It was a fine service. We have used them for years and they are very reliable with reasonable pricing.

Carl and Chris arrived at around 8:30 a.m. (11/8/2012). The job was completed by around 10:30 a.m.
Chris replaced the Vent/Heater/Light in the main bathroom. Carl added the light switch to the master, walk-in closet. Carl also fixed the GFCI plug because it was not properly grounded.
I have used IES within the past 6 years and they have always done great work for me. I will continue using them for my rental home and my new, primary residence.

Went great, have used this co everytime I have an elect problem, they do very nice, professional work, friendly, show up when promised, wired my out bldg abt 23 yrs ago, moved meter to comply w/ code, ran new line from pole. Had them here abt 3 mos ago, tightened up some loose plugs in house, installed a celing fan, and put an exaust fan in bathrm. Only problem that time was they punched a hole in celing of hall way, but, they hired a guy that does that stuff, and he repaired and painted celing to match, then let me keep the rest of paint.

My call was not returned until June 21, more than a month after I left my message.

They discovered that my electrical problem was caused by something CPS needed to address. They called CPS for me and got them to come to the house immediately.

Called Mon am and set up appt. Technicians arrived on time Wed. and repaired outlet and light fixture.

We live 15,20 minutes outside of the city so getting someone to come to give an estimate is sometimes hard but Bexar Electric (IES) showed and provided a great estimate. They worked with us (we were coming back from vacation) when we scheduled the installation date and were early to the appointment. They were very professional and cleaned up after they finished. We liked them so much, we had them also install our dining room lights - which they did at a very reasonable cost and were very quick about it. Everything works great!!! We have recommended them to our friends and would happily do business with them again.

I contacted the number on your recommendation list. It was a San Antonio business. She was very professional and referred me to the office in New Braunfels. I contacted the New Braunfels office. This receptionist was also very nice and quite helpful. She gave me an estimate for this type of job. She then made an appointment for two days later. The electrician, Tom Hernandez, arrived ON TIME (8:00 am), looked over the job, set to work and was done in 30 minutes. He returned to the warehouse to get the special plug we needed and the job was still completed in under an hour. I wrote the check, signed the paper; he left the receipt and left. We are very happy with the job and the clean-up work he did after the installation.

All weekend our electricity kept cutting off. The power company confirmed it was a problem at our house so Sunday morning we called two different companies that had advertised in the yellow pages as having 24 hour emergency service. Neither one called us back. We were desperate so after searching Angie's List, we chose Bexar Electric Co. and called early Monday morning. Not only was someone there to answer the phone, but our electrician arrived within the hour. He was courteous, went promptly to work, located the problem, and repaired it in a timely manner. His cost included parts, labor, and travel since we live at Canyon Lake and he came from New Braunfels. He was a true professional and we will not hesitate to call this company again, should we require any electrical work.

These people are very nice and friendly. They are great people to carry on a conversation with. I felt really comfortable having them in my home. I was even more confident that they would perform an excellent job, I was right. The meter is now up and running. It did not take very long for them to complete the job. I will use them again if I ever come across this type of problem again.
