We were happy with the original product, but it's been 3 years and we've noticed that the coloring on our grout is chipping, staining and cracking. We've called and emailed the local franchise/company in an effort to have these issues addressed through our warranty, but we haven't had a single reply. We've subsequently sent an email to the parent company in an effort to determine if this local franchise/company is still in business, but there has been no response from them as well. It is very disappointing that they apparently don't stand by their product or the warranty.
We decided to purchase their grout sealant services which rinsed off during the first shower.
Marlon presented himself as the lead technician, and was to be tasked with performing the grout repair work. He did not show up on the day the work was to be done and later, by phone, indicated that he had not been employed with the company for the 5 months prior. Our initial visit and estimate was done by Marlon and Jaynette and it was understood that Marlon was the lead technician and possessed the bulk of the experience in the field of grout repair/shower restoration. Jaynette presented herself as as artist, not a grout technician. In a separate phone conversation with Jaynette, she admitted to having only one year of experience with grout and caulking as well as shower repair and painting in general. Jaynette and an assistant of unknown skill and experience showed up to perform the work.
It is important to note that our initial meeting and estimate with Marlon and Jaynette took place well after Marlon had, as he stated, quit the company. The fact that Marlon was not an employee at the time of our estimate and would not be doing the work was not discussed with us or disclosed to us. In fact, Marlon mentioned several times during our estimate that he would be involved in actually doing the work. It was his presence and stated experience that persuaded us to use Groutworks in the first place.
In our phone calls with Jaynette and Marlon, only vague promises to and quot;make everything the way you want itand quot; were conveyed. We have little confidence in the technical ability or ethics of this company.

was as dirty as dirty could get. The grout, originally a light grey, was
stained black in most areas. Originally, I thought my best option was to clean
the floors and try to change out the grout, but Scott assured me Grout Works
could clean and change the color without replacing the grout, and he was right!
The color I chose was Bone and the floors look amazing--a total room transformation! This is my first time
using this special type of color sealant, and my husband and I are so pleased with
the outcome. With the entire house being tile, I was at first reluctant to try
the color sealant, but Scott’s assurances and product guarantee made it an easy
decision to go with Grout Works. He was always punctual, friendly, and
professional, and Margie is very helpful with scheduling.
On the scheduled date, Scott and his team showed up on time and got straight to work. Luckily, we did not have a lot of furniture to move around but we tried to get everything we could out of the way in preparation for their arrival to help them out. They started by cleaning the tiles and the grout with their special solutions and we immediately noticed the difference. They covered every square inch of tile and grout and I was already excited to see the life being restored to the flooring. But that wasn't even the best part! Once they aired out and ensured the tiles and grout were dry, they began applying the special sealant to the grout. Holy cow, the tiles just jumped out! I couldn't believe how much of a difference this made. I was so enthralled by everything they were doing that I actually hung out with them for 7 hours straight watching them do their magic and, of course, having great conversations with Scott (hope I wasn't a pain in the butt!). After they applied the sealant (living room, family room, kitchen, pantry, laundry room, bathroom, and coat closet), they aired everything out again and mopped the entire floor one more time. What a fantastic job they did.
If your tile looks old and grungy, think twice before going out and getting them replaced. Scott will come in on your scheduled estimate date and give you a demonstration so you can see the improvement. He is totally and completely honest and if he feels that you would be better off replacing your tile, he will tell you. I highly recommend giving Grout Works a shot so they can show you what they can do to breathe new life into your tile flooring and grout. And just so you know the sealant truly works, we have a couple of small dogs who have had some bladder-related accidents on the tile flooring recently - their pee-pee came right up, leaving no stains behind! Anyways, seriously, give Scott a call if you need this type of work done - you will not be disappointed!!!
Scott called the day before to confirm his appointment. He arrived a couple of minutes early and measured the tile and marble in our house. He brought out his color samples and made several recommendations regarding the different colors we were considering. We felt that his quote was very reasonable, especially since it came with a five-year guarantee and he could perform the work within a week.
Scott and his crew arrived as promised and they were very meticulous in their work. We ultimately decided on a lighter shade of grout and it really made the color of the tile jump out and make all of the rooms seem larger. Four bathrooms, two long hallways, laundry room, great room, kitchen, marble foyer and nearly eight-hours later, we amazed that our floors had been transformed from looking nice to absolutely stunning!
As a veteran of the U.S. Army, I have no reservations in recommending Scott Turner and his company. If you want a superior product that is applied by professionals with an attention to detail and customer service, I would whole-heartedly recommend Grout Works, LLC. for your grout cleaning, color sealing, restorations, repairs and re-caulking.
