Didn't go back after second time.

It's very good. They're always on time and I really like the cut. I've gone back many times.

My cut was uneven and poorly layered.

Great service -- and no tipping! We will be back!

I've been to Samantha at Gaston's several times. She always listens, we discuss my hair problems and she sets out to make things better! Love this salon. It's a and quot;no tipand quot; salon, and for me that's important as I'm on a budget.

When I called to make an appointment, I was on hold for about 10 minutes, but once I talked to someone on the phone, they were very helpful and courteous. They were able be make me an appt for the next day, which is what I wanted. Staff very friendly when you walk in. Greeted me right away, and offered me some water to drink. I accepted, and browsed the products for sale, as I waited for my appt. I was about 10 minutes early. My stylist came to greet me in about 5 minutes. She took me to her chair, and we discussed what I was looking for in a haircut. She listened to what I wanted, and explained back to me what I requested, so we knew we were on the same page. Got a great shampoo/conditioning/massage and then she started cutting. After she was done cutting, she asked how I like to dry/style my hair. I explained that I like to be able to blow dry and go. She was able to give me a cut that works with that. She also styled it with a round brush, to show me what it will look like styled a little. I loved it. I lived overseas for the last 4 years, and didn't quite get a cut that I was looking for. And now, I have it. Stefani was my stylist. I ended up purchasing one of the products that she used in my hair to reduce frizz, but she did not push it on me. I actually asked. Overall, experience was great. It's a very stressful thing, to have to find a new stylist that listens and can make you look great! The one other thing I like about this salon is that is a no-tipping salon. Makes it affordable, in my opinion.

She is pretty progressive and kind of suggest things. She gave me a cute little bob haircut and I love it. They are an AVEDA salon. The girls are pretty busy, not typically walk ins. They have aromatherapy when they wash your hair, zen music and waterfalls. It is great, I love it. It is a lot of waterfalls and really pretty.

This was my first visit to Gaston's Salon and Spa. The moment I entered the salon I was greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome. The entire staff was just wonderful. They are all very attentive, friendly and had smiles on their faces the entire time. Katie did a beautiful job with the highlights on my hair. I will definitely be scheduling future appointments with her. The ladies that washed my hair and blow dried it were also great. This is a terrific place and I had the most pleasant experience. I highly recommend Gaston's Salon and Spa!

Gaston's Salon is always top notch in all areas: very relaxing salon, always clean , polite providers, excellent service, knowledgable staff who have been trained well.

It isn't the cheapest place around, it is very nice and the people there are quite confident.

The atmosphere is great, and the staff is great. There is no wait, when I have an appointment they take me in on time. That's a big thing to me. It's a no tipping salon, and that helps too. There has been no problem, everything I have ever been there for has been really good.

I expected to have to return several times before achieving the style I wanted, but Heidi did it in one sitting without cutting too much. (I was really worried about that possibility.) End result: My husband loves it, I have had several compliments and a "wish I had hair like yours" from someone I didn't know! Enough said.

I am not thrilled. I had explained when I booked the appointment that I wanted a stylist who was experienced with naturally curly hair. The junior stylist who performed the cut said she needed to straighten it first, which led me to believe that she did NOT have experience with curly hair, as my previous (and much loved) stylists never performed a flat-iron. She ended up taking 1.5 inches off my length and, quite frankly, my hair looks horrid - frizzy and damaged. I only had a trim a few months back and didn't have major split-end damage, so I think the 1.5" was completely unnecessary. I won't be going back.
