DNA Sheds

Originally contacted DNA shed over the phone- we set an appointed to get an onsite quote for three days later.  On the in person quote they were able to fully understand what I was looking for and make some suggestions to maximize the shed space (shelves all around). The price quoted was within my expected range and we made an appointment to have the work done 8 days later.  DNA called the day before to confirm I had obtained the paint (so they could paint to match) and confirm the start time.  DNA arrived on time.  Total construction time was about 5 hours- including paint.  The shed looks great- just what we wanted.  The roof matches the roof of our house- the quality of construction exceeded my expectations. 
I am very impressed and would recommend DNA Sheds to all.

I had called wanting a price and time a 10 x 12 storage shed could be built on site...I was met with courteous,prompt service and was very pleased with the quality of work that was performed. I would certainly refer this company and its workers to anyone.

They built a storage shed, 12X10, with two windows and shelves. They came on time, built the shed and left the place clean, within a day.

They did a good job.

Adam came out and showed us a variety of sheds they provide without a needs for permit. He was professional and friendly with reasonable prices. His crew showed up on time and competed a very well constructed and nice looking storage shed that met our needs perfectly. We would highly recommend this company !

I emailed this provider and gave him a list detailing quite a bit of work I was interested in having on my shed to be converted to a office, a deck around the shed, re roofing our patio and installation of windows in the shed. I also explained that I am hearing impaired and I prefer email or text-ing and in person for communication. This was last night. So I can give him 2 stars for replying quickly. That is about all.
I received an email today asking for photos of what I was looking to have done. My reply was that I would prefer a short consult as there is more than I listed. He replied "I would rather you send photos so that we dont waste each others time". Which took me aback as that is quite rude to say that to a potential customer.
I replied that I was formerly a contractor before I became a nurse and am very familiar with the level of customer service it takes to get a job. I expressed that his level of disregard for my hearing impairment as in it is best to speak with me in person. As well as his level of customer service had ended my interest in his services. I am doing major remodeling through out my home and working with many vendors. This is the first time a vendor declined an appointment and was pretty much DEMANDING photos before he would CONSIDER my job. Last time I checked the economy isn't so good and getting work is a blessing as well as I would be employing him not him employing me as it felt.

Adam was easy to deal with and responsive by email. I contacted him a month in advance, negotiated a price with a drawing and photos of the site. He told me his price did not include the door or windows or paint but that he would install a window or door for $25 per unit. And he would paint the structure. He also created the empty opening for the pass thru into the garage for free. I gave him a Home Depot shingle part number and he purchased and installed asphalt shingles.
In one day Adam and two coworkers built a 12'x16' shed including installation of the windows, door and paint. DNA Sheds prepainted the shed components and then assembled them. It was not a simple installation and they had to modify items on the fly as well as deal with one of the employees getting sick. Adam was able to call in another worker to help finish the project.
I wanted to have a peak roof shed but after some discussion during construction Adam talked me into changing from a peak roof to a "lean to" style roof. It works better for rain and with the height of the door I had purchased. But, I had told him the size of the door in advance and I had drawn a scale drawing of the shed front and side elevations. If I had it to do over again I would ask Adam visit the site and be involved in the design. He did not see the site until the day he purchased the materials and showed up.
Adam returned the next day to put some final touches on the shed. He is located quite a long distance away but that did not impact the project.

from my initial contact to a finished shed took less then a week, used quality materials and had them up in no time,cleaned up and were on thier way, very painless process and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome, and was $800 cheaper the the bigbox stores

We needed a shed built to very custom specifications, as it needed to be on a ramp, in a parking garage. They set up an appointment quickly to meet me and give an estimate. They were easy to talk to, always available (I never had to leave a message or call back later) and were fine with any specifications I wanted met. On the day of building, they were just a few minutes late and rolled with it when there were some problems on my end at the get-go. Definitely easy-going and "can do".

They gave a single, package price which included all my extras plus paint, installation, tax, etc. They even threw in a shelf for free, and installed a light that I had bought and sprung on them at the last minute.

The shed was completed and great in one working day, no problems at all. I recommend them and would use them again. The only reason I put a "B" for professionalism is that at the end of the day we noticed that there was at least one beer being consumed while working.

Found this company on Angies list I had 6 other frustrating estimates from companies in the area that supposedly specialized in construction of this type for mobile and manufatured houses. Out of desperation I mentioned the bad quotes I had received to my friend and he told me to join and use Angies list! Wow what a great great piece of advice! The first company I called, came the very next day gave me the best price I had been given, assured me he could build EXACTLY what I wanted.. (The other companies, NOT on Angies list had all made excuses, and then tried to get me to change what I wanted to have done?) Adam from DNA Sheds then scheduled to build my shed the very next day! He and his two helpers arrived EXACTLY the time they said they would be here, hammers and materials on their trailer and proceeded to build my beautiful shed in ONE day! The shed is quite large, 8foot by 16 foot and not only did they get it all built in one day it is painted the exact colors of my home! Trim and all! Thank you Angies list! I am a single retired schoolteacher your services are wonderful for folks like me! I am sure I will use your services over and over again. Found DNA Sheds on craigslist and went to their site to see examples. Received quote via email -- several of them actually, because we wanted to use less-toxic materials, and this required navigating the building-materials maze. The result was an 8 x 10 rustic office that we're delighted with. They built it site-unseen and in one day, which meant only 8 hours of construction noise. It sits on skids and includes two windows and a door, which we provided. We opted to do finish work ourselves. Yes, it has a few quirks due to fast turnaround (perfectionists take note), but it was a great option for us ... considering what office space rents for these days.
