We couldn't be happier. We received good consultation along every step of the process, from initial design and concept meetings through implementation and final touch-ups. We liked that Deep Roots designers listened carefully to our vision, and then provided artistic, realistic, to-scale landscaping blueprints to help make our dreams a reality. Pricing was competitive. The work crew was organized, hard working, thoughtful and respectful of our property. They cleaned up the work site after each day's work. The owners were on site daily to make sure the implementation was on track and we were happy with the results as the project progressed. They were good about making changes we requested as the project evolved (that's always the case), while advising us on pros and cons of each of our wishes so we didn't make a mistake along the way. We ended up with something even better than what we first envisioned. There was never a hint of an "upsell" just always a "can do" attitude. We learned a lot about what types of plants are good for various conditions (sun, shade, partial shade, etc.) and how to care for each. Deep Roots was really good about helping us select deer-resistant plants that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. There were hummingbirds going after the plants even as installation was going on. The owners checked back with us often, too, to make sure the plants were thriving and being watered properly. Everything is blooming now, despite being planted in the hottest time of the year. We'll definitely have them back for anything else we may need in the future.

First, Chris and his team removed all the high maintenance bushes in my front yard. He then helped me design a flagstone patio with native, drought tolerant plants. The team arrived on time and over the course of 3 days had installed the flagstones, built a low wall and planted the gardens. I was very pleased with the design and work. Many neighbors, include several I didn't know, and friends have stopped by to compliment me on the improvement. I am very pleased with the work.

Arrived in estimated time window. Clarified work to be done before starting. Chris and his crew did an excellent job, greatly exceeding our expectations. They actually added mulch to significant areas that we had not planned on due to our budget this time around. I just can't say enough about the individual care and attention they gave to our yard. Since we weren't really precise with what we were asking of them, we kind of indicated we'd leave it to their good judgement for some minor details and they did just that. They spent about 4.5 hours with between 2-4 people working at various time. They cleaned up perfectly and even did some leaf blowing in our front yard that wasn't even part of the deal we had with them. Can't wait until we can afford to get yard re-sodded and have some other things finished that we want done.
We had their designer/landscaping consultant, Kristal, out for an initial consultation ($75 credited towards work performed by them). It took a while to get that scheduled but she had told us they were really busy with other jobs when we made first contact with them. Once we settled on the details and was provided an estimate, work was scheduled and completed within two days.
Overall a great experience working with them!

Deep Roots Landscape was WONDERFUL! I had the opportunity to work with Krystal, Cain, and Chris. I can not thank them enough for their professionalism and attention to detail. I would use them again in a heartbeat, and I have already recommended them to our neighbors. You can't go wrong with Deep Roots Landscape. You should really just stop looking, and give them a call! Chris and his crew arrived promptly when scheduled and completed the work earlier than promised.  They were very professional and the work turned out beautiful.  I plan to hire them to work on other parts of the yard in the future.

A detailed assessment was taken of the outdoor area with measurements. The pictures were digitalized and put into a computerized program which provided an accurate picture of how it will look when built. This is very helpful to assess what size and where to build. We are waiting to complete the project after the house remodel is finished. Very professional.

Chris Gaskill, owner of Deep Roots Landscape, is a skilled and highly responsive professional. During the past 18 months we have given him several projects to install low-voltage landscape lighting throughout our property. He has always done an excellent job on these projects. We also use Chris for our weekly yard maintenance, routine mulching, and annual plantings. We are extremely pleased with all aspects of his work. He does what he says, when he says he will do it!

They were very professional and punctual with their services. Kristal, the designer, interviewed us and submitted a proposal that most closely matched our desires. We had some preferences on plants that we wanted to use, and Kristal was very helpful in advising whether or not they would work in our area. Chris and his crew did the installation and were very professional as well. The stone bed edging was perfect, the plants installed with care and each day cleaned up after themselves before leaving. We prefer using organic materials, which Deep Roots does. Deep Roots also does yard maintenance if we wish to take advantage of it. Our final installation is fantastic, somewhat unique plantwise as compared to others in the neighorhood and has received many complements from passersby.

Chris is honest, dependable, and professional. He did what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it, for exactly the quoted price. We are extremely pleased with the product, service, and overall outcome of the job Chris did on our landscape lighting. We highly recommend him.

Young husband and wife team arrived on time for appointment. Had good ideas. Kristal emailed me these incredible virtual pictures that sold me on their plan. Her husband, Chris, works side by side with his workers all day and completed the job in record time! I was worried about the side hardscape but it turned out better than I imagined. I love the fact they are organic, too. I will use them again to do more work in the fall as it was too hot this time of year to plant anything else. Both are are nice to work with!

These guys had great ideas for what to use to build the retaining wall. The owner of the company was very responsive and considerate. He gave me a $10,000 job for just $5000.
