We went through the proposed work with Cody; he gave us an invoice with the stated costs and plans, got a check for $2310 and has NEVER RETURNED for the six weeks since that date. His endless excuses in text messages have left us bereft of any hope for getting this work done. My wife and I are retirees in our 70's with fixed incomes and cannot believe how we have been cheated!

The retaining was supposed to be 42 inches. In one area it was only 30 in the tallest area it was 36. He said they would return to fix that and the gate that we couldnt close. He never returned.

Cody with Universal was great. He was very prompt in his appointments with us, quick to get a bid back to us and start work. We battled a few days with rain but Cody kept me updated on whether or not they would work, I chose not to have them work during the rain due to the mud. They also made changes during the process as I wanted. The work was superb and I highly recommend Universal Landscape.

I think you already about covered everything. We Gen.. Contract and Sub so when we find good contractors that are punctual and attentive, we know right of way they do good work because of their work ethics displayed in talking with you and meeting with you. We also check references and BBB to determine a Company does good work and stands by their work ethics. Universal Landscape Services is a very reputable Co.

This was a big project and Cody of Universal Landscape was a pleasure to work with, he installed a high bred Bermuda sod in my front and back yards complete irrigation system, 8ft x 10ft flag stone patio 6in x 6in chop block edging and 18 plantings with mulch and crushed granite and gravel. He has since completed a small project for one of my neighbors and will be starting a large project for another neighbor sometime in September. I highly recommend Cody......
