Slow and sporatic. Took over a month to do the 5 rooms after the material was delivered.

Cheryl, the sale person, was very helpful  and responsive. George, the installer, was very diligent and skillful. He completed our design just the way we wanted and the floor looks beautiful. Very happy.

The sales part was amazing.  The service has been a nightmare! Mary did a great job of being patient with us while we were picking out a carpet.  The rest has been a nightmare.  We had the carpet installed last July and have been waiting ever since to have them come back and fix a seam that looks awful and is very noticeable.  Someone came out to inspect it and agreed it was not "in the tolerance level" for appearance.  After a few weeks of waiting for them to come out, We were told last fall that the business was under new ownership and that the "service" side of the business was closed!  Seriously? Seriously! We were told that once they were up and running again they would give us a call.  We patiently waited a few months and heard nothing.  We have called repeatedly to have someone come fix it and we always get "let me check into that for you" and never hear from them again.  This is unacceptable business practice and we will report them to the better business bureau if they don't come fix our carpet before our 1 year warranty runs out.  Sadly, the nice sales people and showroom hide the very poor backend of the business.   There are reputable businesses that will actually stand behind what they sell and install. Go with them instead.

The product is great and we love the way it looks in our house but it almost wasn't worth the mental anguish! If you see James coming towards you, head for the hills. to start off after the paperwork was all signed it was difficult to reach him, he said he left a voicemail but I never even had a missed call. He should have walked through all of the nuances of installation that a first time renovator wouldn't know; tile pattern, grout color, grout width, where the pattern should start! These are all things that would have been decided by the contractor if I wasn't lucky enough to stay home from work to be present. Twice I had to put the project on hold and had to wait for James to return my phone calls to make sure that things were being done correctly, which of course they weren't. James only came by the house to check on things after several distressing calls and me putting the project on hold. On top of that every time something went wrong the contractors would say James told them to do it that way and of course James "said no such thing, they should know better". He tried to tell us that shaving doors and removal/reinstallation of toilet wasn't part of the job and we would have to find our own contractors, of course this was said after the project started. We removed all of the carpet ourselves and he tried to charge us for it! after all those problems and all that hassle he repeatedly stated he wasn't making any money off the job and couldn't mark anything down! I'm dreading the future if there are any maintenance issues that have to be done under the labor warranty.

Mike did a great job with describing the materials and quality differences. Punctual, honest, quality subs. After a week, called to repair a seam. Supervisor was prompt and offered to completely restreach or repair. They didn't try to cut corners on the repair call.

Our sales rep, Steven, did a very good job of working through the process. He found our existing tile at a good price. When there was an issues of matching grout lines with existing tile he was able to cancel that install and we installed wood instead. The installers did a great job and they were fairly punctual, and very dependable. Overall, we're very happy with the service and product from CW Floors in new Braunfels.

John was very helpful, professional and courteous. We learned a great deal the day of our visit to the store. The only reason we did not use them is that we found a sale on a similar floor elsewhere so we went for the lower sales price.

I tried very hard to buy from Carpet World. Salesperson either had no leeway on pricing or had high commission expectations, and would not make reasonable price concessions on MSRP. Also, there was more markup in installation than competitors on hardwood "accessory pieces." I ended up using a local competitor and saved at least 10%- 20%.
