We contacted All American Irrigation about a leak in our sprinkler system. Anthony, Paul and Jose were dispatched to correct the problem. They were very thorough and professional. They found the leak and adjusted a few of our sprinkler heads. They corrected the problem in record time. We were very impressed with their efficiency. We have used AAI a few times with great results. We highly recommend them.

The service leading up to the appointment was good. The office staff is communicative with appointments and reminders and the folks that did the work were nice. The reason I am giving this three stars is a failure to take accountability on All American's part. They did not ask me where I wanted my control panel installed and proceeded to install it in the most inconvenient and hard to access corner of my yard, because that's what the city prefers (I wish "the city" paid a portion of the invoice). I worked from home that day and told the lead guy to just ring the doorbell if he needed me, otherwise I'll be upstairs working. Since I didn't open the garage or was shown on installation day where the panel was, I assumed it hadn't been installed. When I brought to their attention on the follow-up call they said the panel was already installed. I asked where it was and they told me outside near my AC. I told the rep that isn't what I wanted and no one asked me where to put it, otherwise I would have told them not to put it there (there's <10" of space between the fence and the AC unit, so you have to squeeze past it to get to the panel). She said someone would call me or they'll address it during the final walk through. When I asked about it, to my surprise, they referenced a small line in the contract that said it would be installed outside near the AC (I missed this line) as a justification for why no one bothered to talk to me about placement. I've owned 4 homes and three of them have sprinkler systems (they always came with the house, so this is my first time installing one). All three homes had the control panel inside the garage. I thought this was standard. I wasn't even remotely aware I needed to specify this, plus it doesn't absolve them of asking the customer or doing a walk through of the work they plan to do. They resolved this by doing me a "favor" and charging me an additional $250 to move the panel to my garage. Accountability and communication are super important to me, but it felt like the accountability for failing to ask me where the panel should go ended up costing me more money and they took zero accountability for not asking. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend this business

They came and did the inspection, had some recommendations and said they'd go back and prepare a quotation. I waited a week or so, called to check and they said they'd check with the technician and get back to me. I didn't hear back from them so I called about a month or so later and they said the same exact thing. I tried again, same story. It's now been many months with no call back so obviously I've moved on to another company. They used to be responsive and professional - I've used them for many years. Something has changed and not for the better.

After the additional irrigation work and system check was completed we started getting errors codes on our controller. We had a vacation planned for later in the summer and wanted to make sure our system was functional. when I contacted All American Irrigation they said they were busy and could not come back out for a month. After a couple of weeks of repeated calls they had a cancellation and sent out a technician who said he had never seen a controller like ours. His solution was to disable the flow module of the controller. We had specifically informed the company of our make and model of controller so that would not happen. The technician said he would have someone with experience with that controller contact us which did not happen. We subsequently contacted Rain Bird directly who recommended another company who came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I called All American Irrigation when we received a $142.50 bill in addition to the $673.01 we had already paid for the initial service. I assumed the charges were reversed when I did not hear from them and then we received a collection notice. Their position is that they have to charge when their technician comes whether they resolve the issue or not. I negotiated the second bill to 50%. Waiting a month for sprinkler system repair when the problem develops right after a system check is not helpful. Paying for a technician to come out who is not familiar with the provided controller model is not helpful. I could not depend on this company to maintain my system.

I signed up for this work on Angie's list on 10 Jul 17, selected time for tune-up. Same day received a call from company resetting date of service to 28 Jul-no problem as was in no hurry. On 25 Jul received a call that they had a man available on 26 Jul. We were available. Paul arrived at 1:45 pm and started work. I showed him the pin hole leak in line, he fixed. We discussed replacing several sprinkler heads and I agreed to price and replacing. After replacing heads turned on the #7 station and the pin hole was still spraying the mist. He again repaired and stated their must have been two holes. I was presented a bill for $308.48. It was now 3:45 pm, he had been here exactly 2 hrs. I was charged $85 an hour for 2 hours. I asked about the $86 I had paid up front, he stated that was all included. The following day which is our regular watering dayI followed up on all sprinkler heads and discovered standing water. I called office and they sent Paul out that afternoon found the problem and took care of it. I am satisfied with the overall repairs. I still do not believe this to be a fair charge, so I called the company and talked to lady answering phone. She pulled the invoice and together we went over the charges, we discussed the 2 hour labor charge. She stated she would have the office manager call me the next morning as she was out. I waited for 3 days and called back after some time she found the invoice but the office manager was on another line and would call me back. After a short period of time she called me back and told me the bill was correct and the $86 was collected by Angie's and they were given some of the money. If this is correct I will not be using specials from Angie's as I feel we would be better off using other means. She also told me I was charged $85 an hour instead of regular rate of $95. The billing process is very confusing. It was never made clear where the $86 paid to Angies was used. It was not on the invoice.

The service man said I had a bad wire and put in a new one, then a few days later the landscaper found the wire just under the grass. He told me it has to be 4-6in under the dirt unless it is protected in a pipe. I paid $300.00 for this service. I do have to say I called for the manager and he did come out and bury it. But it could have easily been cut and more service calls necessary with out me knowing what was wrong! Do NOT USE this company.

All American Irrigation Systems wasn't my first choice but I'm glad I decided to go with them. They arrived on time and did exactly what they said they where going to do. As far as price I had 4 other companies give me estimates and All American Irrigation Systems beat all of those companies. All together I am very pleaded with the work and will definitely be calling them back for future work.

It took more than a few (I think four or five) months for them to do the irrigation install. They didn't end up doing the landscaping and we had to find a different vendor. Getting a quote was difficult. They do good work and have a good product, but are very busy. Our first appt for installation didn't happen because they couldn't come up with a quote for some flowerbeds and shrubs and wanted to do both landscaping and irrigation on the same day. Second installation appt didn't happen (understandably) because of rain. Third install happened but they only did the irrigation (irrigation crew didn't know anything about the landscaping and said it was a different crew) and left the system with a head sticking up out of the ground because they didn't have the equipment to break a boulder that was underneath it. the install crew was spot on and very professional. We will use them for maintenance on the system but told them we would look elsewhere for landscaping.

Mike arrived right on time, was professional and took care of the problem in very short period of time. Had to go back to his shop for a fitting, but did not charge me for the time away from my house. Very good service.

April 2016. When they arrived I showed them where it was leaking. I had turned off the system and both valves at the street. I explained that there was a wet puddle at the location prior to me turning it off. They spent about 30 minutes checking things then came and told me they didn't think there was a leak in the system. Something could be leaking elsewhere. The senior tech insisted and I spent about 30 minutes expelling that it leaked when the system was off and stopped when I shut off the street valves. Finally the "assistant" said he understood what I was telling them. They turned on everything and sure enough it started to bubble up right where I had told them. They dug for about 15 minutes, found a leaking pipe and repaid it. He charged me 2 hours labor plus 1 hour labor for the assistant. When I objected to the time charges since at least 30 minutes was spent convincing them of the problem, he gave me a 10% discount. At the time I called for the appointment I was not told there was an assistant coming for which I would be charged, only the $95 per hour. I was not happy but let it go. In July it started leaking in the same place. I did not want to use them again after my experience. I called another company. When they came out they dug up the same spot and he found that the repair was leaking and the bleed valve had been left open and was leaking. Based on this I called AAIS and spoke to Chris. He said I should have called them and they would have fixed their work. I explained that because of my prior experience I did not want their tech out again. I was not expecting a full refund but felt that some adjustment should be made. I sent him photos, a video of their repair leaking (you could easily see the water spraying from the repair) and the bill from the other company which he promised to review and get back to me. He never did. Had he made some effort to resolve my complaint I would not have given such poor ratings. After all, stuff happens and people make mistakes. What counts for me is how a company handles it when things go wrong.

Very happy with the teams that were sent out to the house. The team that scalped the yard prepping it for the new sod were amazing. The took the old yard right down to the dirt not leaving any debris behind, bagging it and taking all trash with them. The team that put in the irrigation system were knowledge, professional and diligent. I hardly knew they were in my yard all day long, they did their job and did it well. I was very happy with the time that was given to us to explain how to care for our land and they took the time to throughly explain how to use the irrigation system. The team that came out to redo the flower bed and cut down the brush and trim the tree were very kind. And respectful. They took the time to make sure the job was done correctly and went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with the yard. They cleaned up and took all trash with them leaving the yard in prestige conditions. We had to wait a few days extra for the plant to be planted only because when Chris went out to pick up our plants he wasn't pleased with the selection on the lot. He made sure we had nice looking flowers, making the wait for them well worth it. This company cares and yes you might have to wait a few days longer then you thought but they make it worth your time and money. Everyone from the front desk ladies to the landscapers were amazing to work with.

Mike and Darek were very professional and courteous. Arriving on time, they worked diligently and provided me with a ton of information to include an objective analysis of my landscapers work and adjustments to how I was watering my lawn. I wish I had known AAIS did landscaping work, as I would have gladly hired them instead.

The service that I received was very disappointing the trees were not cut properly the bushes were halfway done and sometimes the office staff was not friendly. The owner called and worked out the issue with me by being willing to have his team come and complete the job. I was happy that we were able to work out the situation. The job was completed on 05/17/2016.
