Description of Work: First transaction was over 20 years ago, where he was representing the bank on a foreclosure. He only sold us one lot, later we learned through our attorney that we could have had the adjacent lot for the same price included in the first transaction. We learned years later that he sold it himself (as the owner) for a profit. The young man (who happened to be a friend of his daughter) who bought it was ripped off when he paid more than it was worth, when he sold it due to relocation of his job, he lost money on it. The second time we dealt w/ Benson (not by choice) was when we built a new house and the bank financing the home sent him over to appraise the value of the structure. Benson got off his vehicle and only walked through the front door, and turned around claiming he had seen enough. He submitted his report and we had to pay the bank $500 for him to walk through the front door. I wish I could earn $$$ that easy. He did not see the whole house to determine true value.
