A-1 Lawnmower Repairs

Absolutely do not recommend. I told him my pressure washer is leaking oil. He asked if it is hard to start to which I said yes. My pressure washer was ready the next day. He said his tech did some work on the oil leak, but when I hooked everything up the next day while at home, it still leaked. I was charged $190 for the tune up and the leak repair. I called him about the oil leak and he said to bring it back. Over a week later after a calling him a couple times, he said to come and pick it up and we could talk about the oil leak. When I arrived, he inquired as to where's the oil leak. I showed him that it was underneath. He said they don't repair the pump. Huh? He asked, what did I expect. I said a proper evaluation and a phone call to the customer that they don't repair pumps to which I would've said to stop everything. Yet I was charged for repairing an engine oil leak that did not exist. He did not offer to fully reimburse me for the failed repair. When I asked for the difference of the tune up (A1lawnrepair.com advertises $79 + parts for lawnmowers and riding mowers $129 plus parts). I figured the pressure washer would be the same as a lawnmower, he said the tuneup cost $150 (parts = $29 tune kit, plus oil, and a spark plug (they cleaned, not replaced). He raised his voice several times and said "you people" are trying to take advantage of him. After I offered a $20 refund, he wanted to me sign a receipt. I decided to just walk away because I did not want to be a part of the conversation that accused me of taking advantage of him though he never proposed a refund amount. Thanks for nothing except wasted time and a $190 tuneup.

Rick came out to my home within a couple hours of speaking to him. He did a thorough check of the entire mower engine. Turned out to be a solenoid which he fixed quickly. All of this in an hour. I recommend him highly.

He got it fixed in short order.
