My total cost of $16,000 did include materials. Michael removed an existing jacuzzi tub and enlarged a standard shower into a wonderful walk in shower. He had to completely demolish the area and rebuild a no-glass walk-in shower with seat and dual shower heads. He built a wall replacing the existing shower door and continued with a half wall. We used 18x18 travertine marble stone tiles and glass tiles and with his amazing innovation and skills, the bath was transformed into an oasis. If you know what tile you like, Michael can take it from there on design. He was wonderful ideas and an artistic eye. My bath turned out to be even more than I had envisioned with Michael's design skill. He installed all the plumbing involved with the shower, along with removing and reinstalling toilet. He also removed the existing flooring and replaced it with the travertine, along with travertine baseboards. Granite vanity tops were installed, along with glass tile backspash. All the tile and grout was sealed heavily which is a wonderful. This shower was built to last. Michael does not cut corners on quality. After seeing his work, we decided to replace all the ceramic tile in the house with new porcelain and re-do the guest bath floor and shower. We also installed the porcelain baseboards. Once you get Michael in your home, you will not want to let him go. I have never worked with such a contractor and have had many come over the years. He is of impeccable character and a joy to have in your home through these projects. When the bathroom was completed, it was perfect. I had no punch list. This is no exaggeration and I am very picky. You get what you pay for plus some with Michael. He is so respectful of the homeowner and goes out of his way so you are not inconvenienced. At the end of each day his work area is spotless and you hardly know he was there. We continued to sleep in our master bedroom during the bath remodel and there was no dust factor. It was amazing. He hangs plastic that completely cocoons his work area to minimize any construction dust. His quotes are exactly what you pay and much less than other quotes! He began on time with both projects and completed on time. I did not know there was anyone left these days that truly takes such pride in their craft. He is one of a kind. I gave him my garage door opener and he had free access to my home. He was in my home for a total of 4.5 weeks and I will miss his cheerful personality. Michael was very professional in every way. He returned my calls quickly, he showed up on time, and completed the work in the time he had estimated. In addition, he did not leave a mess behind. He was by far the cleanest workman I have ever had in my house. I can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. He showed us pictures of other work he has done on floors and bathroom remodeling, and it also seemed top notch.
