Subsequent to the water heater being installed, we've had several leaks in the attic attributed to a/c issues and the related faulty installation of the tankless water heater.After the installation, we had both a master plumber and a service company plumber tell us that water heater was not installed properly.
Here is a re-cap of their findings regarding the water heater installation:
* no drip was installed
* condensate PH neutralizer not installed
* condensate not tied into plumbing drain properly
* no drip leg on gas supply piping at unit
* no scale shield device on inlet
* roof vents not sealed properly
I notified Mr. Jay Henley of these issues and after numerous phone calls, he agreed to come and take a look. He did indicate a problem with a drip pan not being installed but minimized or dismissed the other findings.
At the time, he was much more interested in finding out who was being "unprofessional" in providing me with the details of his plumbing short-comings.
The last 2 months have been spent in repeatedly asking Mr. Henley when he would be able to remedy the situation. After many excuses about "losing my address, phone #, working on other projects, etc.", he finally told me he wouldn't come out because "I might find other things to correct" and he couldn't be bothered.
