USA FLOORS N-MORE

USA installed carpet and tile and wood floors in a house I just bought in Nac. USA was not the cheapest in town but worked with me on the final price. I'm a bargain hunter and probably would have used Kiva floors but the two young people who worked at the store were not very knowledgeable about their products or prices. The guys who installed the tile in the kitchen area and wood in the living room area were great. They were very good at their craft and had real attention to detail. They also made sure that the job looked good when it was finished. 5 stars for the tile and wood guys! The guys who installed the carpet did a competent job but left a big mess. They spilled some carpet dust or sand when they brought the carpets in the house to install. It was tracked all over the new tile and wood and they even left obvious boot prints on the wood. They also left thousands of small pieces of cut carpet in the rooms which also was tracked into other rooms. The carpet guys told me they were "about finished" and I went to check the job in the back room and when I came back to the main part of the house the guys had left very quickly. It seemed they were trying to avoid cleaning up after themselves. Too bad. Fifteen minutes of vacuming the carpet shards and fifteen minutes of cleaning up the boot prints and carpet sand would have made such a different impression. They marred the job they did and also the great job the tile and wood guys did.
