Steve's AC Refrigeration & Heat

Had them come out in Oct of 2022 to look at replacing two units. It took a month to get a quote…then I had to check in repeatedly to see if the equipment had arrived (which they did say would take some time due to back orders). Come to find out in March 2023 that the equipment had arrived some time earlier, but I was never notified until I followed up. I should not have to consistently be checking in with a business on the equipment. Installation was clean, quick and done cleanly. We did not have the ductwork replaced as it was in good shape. I did reach out a month ago about having them come out and look at redistributing and moving the ductwork around, due to some rooms on one side of the house not cooling. I was told that they would look at the schedule and get back to me. I have been following up for the last several weeks with no response on when they could come out. Finally my wife calls and leaves another message and we get a call back with the same story…”we are sorry, we didn’t get your messages, our phones have been messed up, we have been real busy and are short of workers…”. This is the same thing that I heard back in October of 2022 when I was waiting for a quote. This lack of concern and following through with what you say your going to do in a timely manor has me concerned about future potential issues with these units and if I have to put in a warranty request. In the last message that we received, they did say that if we needed to go elsewhere that there would be no hard feelings. I am relieved to know that they ok with me taking my business elsewhere. At the end of the day, I am frustrated with this organization but I am trying g to be fair with my review. The workmanship appears to be okay, crew was friendly, pricing was the best, but my customer service experience has been an absolute failure to this point.

It had been working ever since. The price seemed like a good price to me. The quality of their work is very good. They were very responsive at that time. They came right out not the same day but the next day because it was in the afternoon when I called them. They came out right away. They explained everything.

Tech was prompt, friendly, clean and fast. We have used Steves AC for going on 8 years now for basic service and they installed a new a/c system and all new duct work for us 7 years ago. Replaced a 20 year old system. Their staff is always great and we won't let anyone else in our home. When my elderly and sick father lived with us, they even came out at 10pm to fix a broken heater fuse so Daddy wouldn't be cold through the night until regular business hours.

We called because of the A/C not cooling and water dripping out the upstairs hose to the ground below.  They found the hose blocked and had to go into the attic and try to unclog it.  Took a few trips, but they did a wonderful job.

The people were great and the installation was very good. Had a little problem with the face plate but it was replaced.

My air conditioner runs great, the best thing aside from staying cool is my electric bill is half of what it was this time last year!

We hired them to do the full installation of the unit.  They arrived when they said they would. They were very polite and took great care not to track up the carpets.  Installation went perfect.  They also took time to answer any questions.  I would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

He's already been back twice to make sure we were happy.  We are very happy with the work he has done.  They got here on time, got the work done right on time, and cleaned up beautifully.  They went above and beyond my expectations.
