James Wood Construction has completely renovated two houses for us over the last few years and has done an excellent job. For the service referenced in 2015, he renovated everything but the roof - there are far too many items to list. His work is both high quality and at a reasonable price. James is very good at suggesting approaches that look good, are built to last and are cost-effective. He doesn?t believe in short-cuts, which I appreciate. James is also very good at finishing the last details of the job that, in my opinion, make or break the project and satisfaction by the customer. I will continue to utilize James Wood Construction for quality craftsmanship at a competitive cost.
The kitchen was completly demo to the studs new plumbing new plugs in the backsplash all per city code. all new built-in cabinets built with birch grade 1 stainable wood, all new cabinets lower base and upper cabinets that have built in led lighting undermount and upper mount.new bathtubs and complete bathroom remodels.
James mainly just gutted the whole house where you could almost see thru it and did it all just like I described above from the roof down. James has really good crews that have been with him for many years.
I would highly recommend James Wood for anyting from a complete remodel to building a new home.
"I did a complex remodel for this [Member Information Removed]. My plumber made a mistake & damaged some drywall on the kitchen ceiling. The plumbing mistake was repaired as well as the drywall immediately at my expense. Approximately 3 days after completing the job I met with the [Member Information Removed] & received my final payment & all was well. The day I received notification of this review ( 8 months after completing job ), I called [Member Information Removed] & left a voicemail. I've yet to receive a call back."
