Carmelo Torres/Melissa Upton Torres Roofiing Co

By mid October the new roof had leaked twice resulting in ruined carpet, stained and cracked ceiling, and mold in the attic. Carmelo Torres could not find the leak and was leaving for a week when another giant rain was expected. I called in someone else to look for the leak and the problem was that the whole roof was put up incorrectly. There were strips of 1 1/2 feet where there was no tar paper at all. There was also tar paper on top of shingles. I have pictures of all of this. The ridge was also done incorrectly in a way that would allow water in. Carmelo Torres agreed to pay for all damages. He paid the labor (not materials) for someone else to redo the roof above the leak. His partner, Melissa Upton, (the only one you can get by phone) is now denying that he caused the leak and I am stuck with all the rest of the damage. Meliss Upton is now saying that all the damage was there before they roofed it.
