Worst experienceof my life! After 7 weeks and $7000 dollars not one item was completed properly and my house was destroyed. I have spent $5000 just fixing this companies sub par work and thats before psint. BUYER BEWARE!

I wasn't happy with the work. I had the paint ready for them and after they painted the bathrooms the owner came out and said, "This is a crappy job". I ended up having to pay an extra $280 for the paint because they didn't use the paint I'd already purchased for the job. The owner said that he'd give me $100 back and they'd repaint the bathrooms. Two men came out, that were not part of his crew, and they were supposed to re-texture and re-paint. No one was there to supervise and they ended up doing another crappy job. When the supervisor, Ruben, came out he was very aggressive and hostile. He called me crazy because I was asking about another painting project that I'd previously requested. The owner sent me an email saying that I was being unreasonable. He went on about everything that they'd done at my home, which half the projects he was talking about they didn't even do. I had a terrible experience with this company and I won't use them again.

"I Love Angie's List because they allow the contractor to rebuttal. I have been contracting for 25 years. God has given me wonderful people to work for. But sometimes I believe he will let you have a very trying unhappy person to deal with to allow you to build your patients. [Member Name Removed] is that person. TXPaintmaster has 17 perfect reviews and then we have [Member Name Removed]. Allow me to tell the story from my perspective. 1) She bounces the deposit check to me. 2) The paint that she said she had ready was the wrong type of paint and we had to buy new. 3) [Member Name Removed] is correct that there was (1) small bathroom that the texture was completed poorly. I said no problem we would fix it. Because she had to go thru the hassle of having us back out there, I would refund her a $100 which I did. 4) The next (2) painters I sent out were apart of my crew just not the same (2) men that were there the first time. 5) [Member Name Removed] said there was no one to supervise them is ridiculous. They are professionals, why would the boss sit there and watch them paint. Thats not how it works. I lined them out and left. They did a perfect job and completed it in a few hours. 6) The ace painters that I sent over the second time ended up leaving abruptly because [Member Name Removed] kept hounding them and yelling at them to perform other work that was not on the contract. She was rude and very unpleasant to work with. In 25 years in this business I have learned how hard it is to please everyone. I try very hard to accomplish that. I tried everything in my power to please this women and was unsuccessful. As a believer in Christ, I think he was proud of my efforts I took with [Member Name Removed]. First off, this review is long overdue. We bought a house that had colors that we just didn't like (rose tinted neutrals and seafoam green...ick). We put the job out for bid to three different painting companies and Texas Paintmaster came in as the middle bid (but close to the bottom bid...the third company was exceedingly high). I should also note that the house was empty when they painted everything - no furniture, electronics, etc. to contend with.
John, Brent, and the Texas Paintmaster crew were phenomenal! John came in and did the initial bid and was on time, very efficient, and gave us a bid later that day. We weighed the different bids and John's professionalism and expediency in delivering the bid came out on top. I then met with John and Brent to go over specifics. We had a total of five different colors that went on the walls throughout the house. They were able to accommodate the different color choices throughout the house and took extra precautions to cover all of our hardwood floors, counters, etc. while painting. Their cut work on the lines was excellent. Everything is clean and straight and the house looks fresh. One of the rooms (the game room) had several colors to contend with, but the guys did an outstanding job. The crew worked very fast and cleaned up everything very well. They also set aside all of the remaining paint for us in case we had any use for it later. Total time from start to finish was 3 days.
Overall, we were exceptionally pleased with the courteousness, fast and professional work, and the finished product. I can't recommend them enough as they really did do a great job. We will use them for any paintwork we have in the future!

Brent surveyed our home on Friday and made a great impression, even compared with other highly rated companies from Angie's List. He had a crew led by Reuben available to start the following Monday (Oct. 19th). Everyone on the crew was pleasant and very professional. Communications were excellent and everyone very cooperative. It took seven days to complete the job, and they were always on time or slightly early, working diligently all day.
The trim work was excellent, with nice borders between different colors. We had numerous window sills that had been damaged by our dog when it was a puppy. They were able to do a very nice repair job on them.

Texas Paintmaster, John, Brent, and the entire team involved, I don't know where to start because it was such a great experience and breath of fresh air to have such customer service and professionalism. From the very first phone call until the final touch, there was never a time that my family and I did not know exactly what was going on.
First, we reached out to John to schedule the appointment. He was actually in the hospital due to an illness and picked up the phone! He said 'business must go on no matter where you are' - that's dedication and customer service. He passed us to Brent for an appt to review our job and provide all the details. Brent was a super nice guy. He came out, evaluated the job and walked my wife and I through exactly what would take place and how long it would take. He took the time to answer all of our questions in detail to ensure we were all on the same page. Both sides had some scheduling hurdles to overcome - the Texas Paintmaster teams were busy with jobs and my family and I had some commitments in the near term that prevented the Texas Paintmaster team from getting in our home sooner rather than later. Brent and team really worked hard with us on scheduling to get our job worked in. Brent was able to re-arrange the Texas Paintmaster job schedule and get our job in to start the very next day! It was unbelievable! That's superior customer service! The first day of the job, Brent came out with two of his team members, introduced us to them, walked through the job again to ensure everyone was on the same page on what the final result would be. His two team members, Rueben, and I forget the other gentlemen's name (forgive me :)) were very nice, courteous, and professional. Great care was taken in our home when masking off the furniture, walls, window, etc. They moved the furniture out of the way, went above and beyond. We were walked through each day's activities and kept informed regarding everything being on track or not. They never fell behind and were always on time (even early!). They worked, and I mean worked, approximately 8am - 4:30pm each day. The total job was approximately 4 days.
The final product far exceeded our expectations! The paint job is absolutely beautiful and we couldn't be more happy with it. We can't find any overspray, drips, there's no evidence they were ever in our house other than the beautiful paint job! Bravo guys! My mother-in-law, who is a very active real estate agent in the local area, has already referred them to one of her clients! I would highly recommend giving Texas Paintmaster an opportunity to come out and quote your job, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely use them again.

John Mock and his crew at Texas Paintmaster are a joy to work with and rate an A+. From the first contact with John to the departure of the touch-up staff, you know you and your house are in the hands of a group of true professionals. We interviewed 12 painting companies and none even came close to the organization, expertise, quality, and personality of Texas Paintmaster. John emailed us a comprehensive quote within an hour of visiting our home. He was true to his word in every aspect of the contract. His crew was always punctual to the minute, worked fast and efficiently, were friendly, courteous, and responsive to our input. We couldn?t have asked for more. A special pat on the back to Ruben Martinez who arrived first to ready the house at the beginning of the project and was the last one to leave at its conclusion. The quality of his workmanship and attention to detail are second to none.

Painting went really well; the crew showed up everyday and worked from about 8:30 - 4:30 and were very productive each day. I selected about 10 different colors and they accommodated all of them. When they came for the bid they asked a lot of questions and really got to know the house and the job whereas others walked in and only spent about 5 min. They were very responsive to questions and kept in good communication.

Completely professional. Excellent communicator; fair and reasonable bid. Team was on time, checked in to make sure they were doing what needed to be done and even asked for input on the number of coats of paint. Would hire them in a heartbeat.

Very punctual with the appointment to review the project. A quick turn around on the actual estimate. The estimate was fair. After explaining what I wanted, John pointed out other options and noticed things that I missed. After agreeing to contract out work, a date was set and the painters arrived on time and were very professional. The project was completed in two days to our satisfaction.
I have had a lot houses painted but this was by far the best experience I had from start to finish.

He is quick to respond, efficient, he charges fairly, he is good to work with. He did a good job and he tells you how he will do it. He goes through the cost of doing it. He will tell you how many minutes it will take, how many hours, the steps. I highly recommend him.

John was fantastic. He was very responsive with coming out and providing a bid. We got on his schedule. He followed up with us on the paint color selections and even confirmed the appoint the day before arriving. He and his guys were on time and worked diligently while here. We had a two story staircase area painted too and they did a great job. John is honest, professional, respectful of your property and works diligently to get in and out. I would highly recommend John and his team!

Texas Paintmaster is really good. They're excellent. They painted both the inside and outside of our home and the cost was great. His workers were also very professional. They were punctual, courteous. They showed up and did their job and got it done quickly and efficiently. There was no complaining or another like that amongst the crews and the owner or anything. The job was tremendously well done.
