Quote to redo bathroom was received in February, work was to take two weeks. Terry touted himself as a Christian man; we called the references he gave us and they seemed positive. Were we ever in for a shock. The project dragged into June before it was finally finished. Terry Fryfogle was seldom on site and breached contract by randomly demanding more money explaining that he'd
have to delay the project for an undefined period of time because he "just didn't have the funds". There were a number of other "little things" that didn't work for us: Terry had untrustworthy employees (I returned home to find the painter rifling through my jewelry box), ruined the carpet in the MBR, charged extra for items that were already negotiated into the contract, had workers who helped themselves to hand and power tools, brooms, towels, etc. Finally, Terry walked off the job before it was finished, leaving the
homeowner to work with the subcontractors, spending more money to complete the job. Overall, the job turned out well, and the final product turned out well, however the process was painful and stressful -- there would have been less hassle had we hired the subcontractors and eliminated the "middle man" from the equation. Terry was terrible to work with, bullied and belittled the homeowners, and really shouldn't be in any type of business where customer relations are required. My recommendation: if you ever hear the name Terry Fryfogle or Sterling Renovations Co, run!
