A Degree Above

Perfectly! Owner and son do the work and they are just great! This is the second house they have done for us.

One or the other comes out at least once a year for service on furnace or A/C unit, I don't like surprises. We've referred him to many of our friends who have been happy with his work ethics and persona.

He came out and performed the 21 point inspection. He did not provide me with any written evaluation of my evaporation coil which I had specifically asked to be done along with the inspection. I also ask that he provide the model number of the coil which he stated had no sticker. He gave me a evaluation of my condenser but not of the evaporation coil which I wanted specifically. I do believe that there was a gap in the communication. I asked for something done specifically and they did not do what I asked which was a written evaluation of the evaporation coil no matter what they discovered including the make and model number. UPDATE: The company finally did send me the requested written status of the evap coil after much effort. It was a simple request and there seems to be a communication breakdown. They put in Freon which I didn't ask for, therefore both parties were upset. The company then said that I didn't have to pay for the service call, and also that they would not be returning to my home. They may pride themselves on their work, however, their customer relations needs some work.

I am so glad my son recommended CJ's company. They were prompt, curtious, and very thorough in their work. I will call them again for my heating and AC needs.

CJ has been our A/C technician for 3 years and has always been fair, honest, dependable

and a pleasure to do business with. So, when we bought a rent house we called him. As

usual, he did a fine job for us. Only took he and his son two days to install the new unit,

replace all duct work, registers, add two returns and a new thermostat. We have also

referred him to friends and they were extremely pleased with his work.

I have called on CJ several times to diagnose and repair my 10 year old A/C unit. He is always courteous, professional, and very accomodating with my schedule. During this last visit, CJ came out on a Sunday to fix my A/C unit and didn't charge extra for weekend service. He knows what he's doing and never tries to sell me anything I don't need. I had another local company tell me I needed a new AC and heating unit in the very new future, so I had CJ come out for an inspection and second opinion. Needless to say, he has kept my unit running effectively for 2 years now without replacing it. CJ was referred to me by my brother who has been calling on him for several years. My brother has 2 units in his home. CJ always strives to do the most cost effective repairs first. I am totally satisfied with A Degree Above and highly recommend CJ to anyone who wants quality, cost effective work done on their A/C unit.

I've used "A Degree Above" for AC service 3 or 4 times in the last 3 years. They've always been punctual, honest, fair priced and have always completed the job in a timely and professional manner. I would recommend "A Degree Above" to anyone and feel good about it.

CJ, who I understand is the owner of the business, was at our house before 20:00 hrs. He got the system up and running and refused payment for doing so as he said he would cover this under the service agreement. It is very rare in this day and age to meet with such a high level of customer service. I would rate the level of service from CJ and A Degree Above as Excellent and would recommend them to any other members of the list in the area.
