I love the work that Southern Painting did, painting my Mom's house getting it ready to sell, they did an amazing job, they patched walls and ceiling so that you can never tell that she had a ton of molly bolts in every wall . The house has never looked better and we had an offer on the house before they even finished painting! I am sure we got a better offer based on the quality of their work. The crew was easy to work with and kept me informed every step of the way. I will always use Southern Painting in the future.

My house looks beautiful thanks to the painters at Southern Painting! So professional, had everything covered and protected and even left my home as if they hadn't been working in it for a week. I am beyond satisfied and would highly recommend them. They are a little more costly than other painting companies but I felt so comfortable knowing they have been is business for over 30 years locally and are bonded and insured. They use the best products and have a 3 year warranty!

Delayed start due to weather, otherwise moved along quickly and was done in 3 days.

Very satisfied with the painting, cleanup and overall quality. The house is a two story brick house with wood trim and some large wood surfaces in the two-car carport. The work included varnishing the front door and painting of a wrought iron gate and balcony railing. The whole job took three days.

Crew were courteous and professional. On time and stayed busy all day. Finished 2100 sq ft in 1 1/2 days.

The team did a great job and finished quickly. If I had a question it was answered almost immediately.

While we are pleased with the paint there are just a handful of things that didn't go smoothly. The lead painter was temperamental, to say the least. He didn't take feedback well. He even argued when we pointed up small touch-up areas. The unfortunate part is that we needed a few things fixed like Paint on the carpet and blinds that didn't function right after reinstallation (pull fell off the track), plus we found large split in wall that should have been patched wasn't done - but they never came back as communicated.

Very Well! They started on time, were respectful and responsive, and cleaned up perfectly. I didn't realize how much better my house would look, nor how faded my doors had become! Work was in July and just today (Sept) I was out back admiring my new look!

Very professional works have been done. All noticed issues were fixed. Bill is very friendly, provided very useful advices. Charges for the job very reasonable.

Overall, a great job.  They were professional in their approach and met all of our expectations. We got a detailed, written quote, which was very helpful and unique compared to the two other bids.  We were kept informed about when they would arrive and any conflicts they had with other jobs. On day one, they power washed the house, taking into consideration our plants and being careful around certain areas of the house.  The following day, they caulked everywhere that needed it.  They use a lot of caulk, not skimping anywhere.  The last day was painting the house: window frames, siding, garage and exterior doors, not including the front door. No mess anywhere (none on the windows, brick or ground) and they were very careful around the plants. All of this took a total of about 3 days.  We are very happy with the work they did.

Called Bill Cook and he responded the very same day. Went out to look at the scope of working the next day and had the bid same night. Set this up 1 month in advance. Had problems getting bid from other painting companies. Bill contacted me in a timely fashion to state they would have a 1 day delay in starting the job but assured me of them completing the work on time since I was only there for the week. He team worked tirelessly and always neatly. His head man, Demus, friendly, very timely and professional. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Bill had strong faith in his team and they were great to work with and showed up on time every morning. They did not let me down!!! Great company to do business with.

They gave me an itemized quote per room for the whole house, which was helpful for future planning.
We selected the areas most in need of painting and got those done. They arrived on time, worked professionally,
kept me informed of their plans, and cleaned up before leaving each day. They did great quality work for a reasonable price,
and they use good quality materials. I will definitely use them the for the rest of the house when it's time.

Company was very professional.  Bill came out quickly to my home to provide a quote.  He honored the Angie's List discounts and I hired them to paint and re texture.
They did an excellent job with everything.  They were neat and clean.  The walls and every surface they touched look terrific. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything in great condition.

Good service.  The pricing was honest and up front.  The job was completed quickly and without error (or at least without any mistakes I could see.)

They started when they promised.  They showed up at 8:30AM each morning and worked until 6PM each evening. They did what they said they would do. They hauled off the trash and debris at the end of each day.  I was impressed at how they took the time to prep the house properly before painting.  They also were able to find a couple of innovative solutions to some problems I had with wood rot on the garage and a door frame.  After completion, the owner came out and we walked the job and anything I thought needed attention he marked and they came out the next day and fixed it.

I have dealt with contractors before and this experience was so much better than many others.  The crew was experienced and had worked as a team for years.   I am pleased with the job and the price I paid for the work was fair.

The team was very professional and we had a great experience, right from the first meeting with Bill for estimation and planning to the painters who did the final work. There were no hidden costs in the estimates nor they tried to do any upselling for any additional products or services. The painters were always on time and were very careful in covering surfaces / moving and protecting things (furniture, window treatments, picture frames etc.) within and around the work area. Initially we only planned on doing half the area of the final project. But looking at the work quality, we decided to get the additional rooms done as well, some of which required custom patterns (multiple niches, game room, media room) etc. Its been over 3 months since the job was done, and we are very satisfied with the way things turned out.
