Fort Bend Roofing & Siding

.The damage to my roof was caused by wind and hale damage.  I was experiencing a leak in roof that was causing a water spot on the living room ceiling.  Fort Bend was responsive during the time spent to assess the damage with the insurance company.  They called everyday for status.  When the insurance company settled the owner of Fort Bend Roofing and I came to an agreement on the price to repair and the owner offered to do a few additional items such as adding gutter for the final agreed cost.  I had negotiated with other roofers and all were willing to match the price and the additional work.  I decided to go with Fort Bend Roofing as they were the original company I worked with and the owner seemed like an honest individual.  I had also check the internet on Fort Bend and found no negative reviews. The owner asked for 50% down before work started which I gave him.  The work crew showed within a few days and completed the repairs to the roof.  During the removal of the old roof they damaged a palm tree and rose bush.  I noted that to the owner but he did not take responsibility.  I then asked when they would be installing the gutters. The owner Bob told me they would be there in a few days and then asked if I would pay the remainder of the roof repairs.  Not having any reason not to trust the owner I paid him.  Fort Bend Roofing owner Bob then told me he would not be doing the gutters after I called him a few times as to when they would be completing the work.  I would recommend that anyone doing business with this company get it in writing and withhold payment until the job is complete.  I would also call other more honest roofers.

They came out for a patch job and I had them stay to re shingle the roof. I had hardly noticed that they were here. They were very polite and professional. I know they gave me an estimate on my siding so that was cool, although I did think it was a little expensive. The work was great and the quality is also pretty good.
