D & B Upholstery Denrick Harris

Excellent work.

Mr. Harris was very professional and did an extensive assessment prior to beginning the project. I purchased the materials needed to reupholster the furniture and Mr. Harris picked it up when the furniture was removed from the RV. Approximately 3 weeks later, per our conversation, Mr. Harris contacted me with completion information and met to reinstall the RV furniture. The workmanship and detail was stunning and gave my unit a brand new look and feel.

Exceptional. All aspects of the job went well, and the results are outstanding -- the chairs look spectacular, better than when new. I texted Mr. Harris pictures of the chairs, and he gave me an estimated labor price and the amount of fabric required. We then visited a fabric wholesaler to select the fabric. Mr. Harris arranged a date to pick the chairs up and provided an estimated completion date. The work of recovering the chairs also involved sewing several decorative exposed seams, and a multitude of decorative nail heads at the base of the seat cushions on each chair. He also insured that the seat cushions were re-tensioned. The chairs were completed and delivered at the time promised.

I researched about a dozen places that reupholstered furniture. I narrowed this list down to five finalist from whom I got quotes. I personally visited 2 of the shops. D&B won hands down. They came out with the highest ratings for quality of work and service and to top it all off their quote for the work was the lowest. I am overjoyed at having selected D&B. I will use no other. I had my 6 chairs recovered with beautiful, more durable fabric after my cats demolished the pleather that was originally on there. Denrick was amazing! He helped me make the fabric selection. The chairs were finished remarkable fast, and looked fantastic! I've gotten so many compliments on them. I couldn't be happier. I will definitely use this company again.

It went very well. I called Denrick to find out how much fabric I needed to buy, and he helped with great information, telling me the amounts needed for a print fabric vs solid. He was very responsive every step of the way, including calling me to say that the seat cushion of my 60+ year old chair needed to be replaced because it was an innerspring cushion, and the springs were broken. I love my new chair and the attention to detail that he gave it.

Dendrick was very professional and did great work. I wasn’t satisfied with the firmness of my cushion at first and he replaced it immediately. He was very punctual, kept chair for time he said it would take. I will definitely use him again. I looked for a person still doing upholstery for months. It seems to be a lost art. Happy to find him.

Denrick was awesome! We ordered fabric elsewhere and he did the upholstery work. We had 8 dining room chairs (antique), a leather armchair with split seams, and an ottoman. He reupholstered them all (including detailed decorative nail work on the chairs) and replaced the padding/supports. They are all beautiful and much more comfortable. I could not be happier. Thank you so much for your work on these! The next time we need work done, he is absolutely my first call.

Wow-from start to finish Denrick was professional, punctual and honest. What more could you ask for. He took an expensive 20-year old leather sofa that was flat (literally--back cushions had gone flat over time) and restuffed it to where it looks new. There was a broken strap and piece of wood that we were not even aware of and he fixed both of those too. He got it back to us much quicker than he thought he would be able to and delivered at night. You cannot tell that it was worked on at all (other than it looks like it's almost new)! See "two" before and two "after" photos attached. Thank-you, Denrick!!

Beautifully. He did an expert job and even had to replace very old material inside. He restored them to perfect condition. I am very pleased with the results and plan to use him again.

Denrick told me I would need two yards of fabric for four chairs. I bought Crypton upholstery fabric (because we have two cats that love to scratch upholstery and shed their weight in fur!) which was on sale at joann.com for $20/yd (originally $50/yd). I got a color that went with my living room sofa set. I dropped off the old seats and the fabric at his workshop. He said the original plywood was still in good condition, so he would just need to replace the foam with new 2" thick foam. Denrick called me when the chairs were ready and he delivered the seats to my home. He reattached the reupholstered seats to the chairs with new 1 1/4" coarse thread screws. The new chairs look fantastic and the thicker foam is so much more comfortable than before! This is the first time I have had furniture reupholstered as I had previously never even considered it as an option to replacing otherwise perfectly good furniture, but I am really glad I did!

Mr. Harris does excellent work. Punctual pick-up, work time, and drop-off. We have used his services three times over the last five years.

Denrick is amazing! I needed to have some of the foam sliced out of my motorcycle seat to allow my feet to reach the ground better. He did just that, and reformed the vinyl wrap so it looked like it originally came that way from the manufacturer. I was impressed! He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and most importantly reasonably priced! I will be using him again in the near future to recover my dining room chairs.

I can’t say enough good things about D & B Upholstery: 1) Denrick and his crew arrived on time. (big plus with me, as my time is valuable too) 2) Denrick determined the plastic spring clips needed to be replaced on two sections of my sofa, and asked if I wanted to replace the spring clips on the third section as well. (he quickly diagnosed the problem and made a suggestion without being pushy) 3) Denrick loaded my sofa into his truck and said he would try to get my sofa back to me the same day or the following day, as he had to remove the bottom liner, replace 18 clips, and attach a new liner. (he was able to return my couch that evening, so he is definitely a man of his word) 4) He took photos of various stages of the work that was being done and showed them to me. (I liked seeing proof, so to speak) 5) Denrick charged a fair price for fixing my sofa. (who doesn’t like a good price?) 6) Denrick was courteous and professional, both on-line and in person. (it was a pleasure dealing with him and his crew) 7) It’s been several months since Denrick fixed my saggy sofa. (Job well done - I no longer feel like I am sitting on the floor) 8) I recommend D&B Upholstery to everyone I know. (I have 2 chairs to be reupholstered – next year - and will definitely use D&B)

All is perfect! Have used many upholstery companies before, but none as great as D&B! Dernrick is the best and his attention to detail is nothing I have seen before. Timing was great for the amount of work. 2 1/2 weeks. Never had furniture back that quickly, and such a much higher quality than prior work. This is the second time I have used D&B and will never use anyone else! Highest recommendation!

Denrick took on the assignment. I didn't know how he was going to be able to twist and turn the upholstery over the small cushioned stool and create a skirt that hung nicely -- nonetheless, he did it! When I claimed the stool, I couldn't believe my eyes! A tough job performed with perfection plus! Everything was as right as right could be! I will be using his professional services again to cover an ancient rocking chair.

Mr. Harris does superb work and I recommend him without hesitation! His estimate included the work, in addition to pick-up and delivery. Mr. Harris provided me with the yardage needed and made helpful suggestions with regard to fixed vs. loose pillows. I will use him again for other projects.

Service was great! Sent pictures and measurements of the piece via text and he responded with how much fabric I would need to purchase and cost for the labor. Their quote came back lower than two other companies. We setup a day and time for pickup, was given a written estimate and approximate date of completion. Took a few weeks to complete and was contacted with a picture of the piece and coordinated time for delivery. Our bench is fabulous! Will definitely call D&B for my future upholstery needs and recommend them to others.

Denrick is a consummate professional and did a superb job. He is very meticulous and worked to a VERY high standard. This piece was entered in the 2016 Texas Furniture Makers Show and won an award. The shelf was needed in a tight timeframe and he was able to accommodate us with a fast turnaround. We could not be more pleased. Great job!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the quality craftsmanship performed by Denrick! My sofa looks amazing and the style of the period was maintained once this project was completed. His pricing is fair and he was very accurate with his timeline for services.
