We contacted Callaway’s on a Holiday weekend just to leave a message. Within minutes Callaway’s responded by phone and came out the same day to our home. We have used them for 4 years. They put an irrigation system in place that covers over 2 acres, beautiful front and back landscaping, grass soding, built decks, pergolas, removed trees, placed a circle driveway, and etc etc. We have found Callaway’s team to be focused on quality work, timely, friendly and considerate. They were always respectful and careful to not only us but to our property and grounds as well. If we had questions or needed to speak with Callaway’s they were always available and responsive. They care about their clients and the services they provide. We highly recommend Callaway Outdoor Design Team.

They did an excellent job helping me choose which plants were to be installed, they were careful about harming the grass in the yard, they had ample workmen so that the job was finished in a expeditious manner, and they were polite in our conversations. They were professional in every respect. I will use them again and recommend hem to others. The lighting was exceptional. It lighted up the trunks of the trees and provided some safety as well.

1. Our “three to four weeks” project took nearly 6 months to complete. As the owner noted they they prioritized other work above ours. 2. They have no drug alcohol policy. Their subcontractor insisted we bring him beer. When we refused and suggested that we could bring him water, he said he would bring his own beer. We asked for another sub. Callaway chose to use him anyway. 3. When it was discovered that changes in design were required, no change order was ever given to us, hence we could never agree to any changes in price or schedule. Instead they surprised us with extra charges at the end. 4. Communication was poor throughout the project. Long delays without explanation led to us offering to finish the job ourselves after three months of slow progress. A city employee explained that a delay had occurred due to nonpayment of fees. A delay occurred when extra lumber was ordered but not needed. Further delays occurred when the structure could not pass inspections by the engineer or the city.

We used these guys before and chose them again for a revamp of some beds in the front as well as a big cleanup of beds and side rock yard after the mess the fence contractors left after installing a new fence. Very happy......chose them again and they weren’t the cheapest but had the best ideas and didn’t charge us for design. The work will actually be done next week but we have a down payment and expect no issues......will edit if that is not the case.
