On May 22, 2020 Randy explained the process of stripping and repainting my garage floor. He prepared an estimate for the work of $1,100.00 but when I balked he volunteered to reduce the price to $800.00. Randy claimed that he had done several projects exactly like this in the past. The scrapping went well but took longer then expected. He approached me with a new price of $1,700. In the interim period, I had decided to leave the floor in clean concrete and this saved Randy one day in labor and $300 in fresh paint. In other words, the floor was not painted. I agreed that Randy had made an error and underestimated the job. To be fair, I told Randy that I would pay him $1,000 if he simply painted the small landing and the lower border around the garage floor that had been only partially stripped by his workers. He agreed and I drafted him a check in advance of his finishing the project. Suffice to say, that Randy broke our verbal contract and I never saw him again. The project was unfinished and his workers did not clean up the mess that they left in my garage. Based upon this flagrant dishonesty, I could not recommend Randy to the public for further work. This was an unfortunate experience with an irresponsible person.

I'm not sure 1,000 words will be enough to describe how completely incompetent and horrible Randy was to work with. I wish I had come onto Angie's List and read the reviews since it appears others have had a very similar experience. We hired Randy to do multiple jobs around our house. The first job he did was to build a closet in our attic bedroom and this actually went well but once the closet was built Randy said he had other jobs scheduled and was going to have to come back to at a later date to complete the rest of the promised wok and this is where it all went downhill. It took multiple calls and emails for Randy to return to the job. When he did he brought workers who were not competent to the work and Randy left them completely unsupervised. I could go on and on with how poorly the rest of our home repairs were managed by Randy Brock but long story short Randy or one of his workers cracked our granite counter top, tried to grout tiles without removing the plastic pegs that hold the tiles and than just walked off the job causing more damage than the actual cost of the repairs. I'm guessing this was also obvious to Randy and hence he never returned or completed things in a professional manner. It is disappointing to see someone running a business this way. But in all fairness when Randy uses a good crew and is present on a job I do believe he is capable of doing good work. But I would not recommend him to anyonne and hope others will read this review and find another contractor who is a bit more ethical. Good luck!

They were prompt, cleaned up and finished when they said they would. I'm in Real Estate and I always recommend Randy for my clients. He is super reasonable and reliable. He's done work for me personally, many times over the last 4 years. Especially for the price, you can't beat him and his guys!

Most of the work was done properly. Did not come back out when he said he would. Part of the job remains unfinished, I have given him three weeks to make good. I am now having to hire someone else to finish the job.
