They have been excellent in the past but these days you have to chase them down more. It is not the same company any more as they are under a new owner.

From the day Santos gave the estimate until the work was done everything was excellent. This is the third time we have used Charisma (roof replace, ceiling work) and their work is exceptional

It was an excellent experience since calling their office, the secretary was very nice and knowledgeable since I had questions not only about repair and materials used but how to proceed since I also had to deal with the insurance company to pay for this job. They went out of their way to help me deal with the insurance company, who did not want to cover the cost, by speaking directly to them and explaining in detail the damages to my roof, and the insurance company agreed with them and expenses were approved. The job was done in a very professional matter. Santos, the person in charge of overseeing the job, was kind in answering my questions and provided in detail all repairs done. They also cleaned up after the job was done, making sure no loose debris was left. I highly recommend them for their honesty and professionalism and also for putting the customer needs first.

We needed to change from bathtub to a walk-in shower in my elderly mother's house. The owner worked with us from the very beginning, providing valuable advice and even recommending an option that would provide him with less profit. The shower was professionally redone with beautiful wall tile and non-slip floor tile. I was very impressed at how the foreman, Jesse, and the whole crew worked at making sure that every detail was done to ensure the safety of my mom. Caution was taken to minimize dust and to finish as quickly as possible in order to reduce the disruption of my mom's daily routine. The shower is now a beautiful work of art. Everyone who has come by to see it has made them same comment, "I want the same for my house."

It was very easy working and getting my ideas of specifically what I wanted across to the owner. He had good contacts for getting materials and made sure they were all good quality. He was also fair in adjusting charges I questioned as I personally bought many of the décor items I wanted. The only negative was the length of time for completion. There were holidays and out of town trips by the owner during the construction process that delayed completion. However in all fairness a foreman was left in charge to get the work done in a timely manner. Some of the delays were caused by the materials being defective or not arriving on time. His regular crew was very good at their specialty trades and went above and beyond in completing unusual requests I had.

"We regret that [removed member name] could not be satisfied. Taking into consideration her discontentment, we made several service calls and renovations to the project at enormous cost to us hoping to make her happy. The original job was done in 2007. [removed member name] did not like the slope of the patio so we returned and poured additional concrete to bring it to the level she wanted. Several years later, she rightly pointed out that the concrete was cracking. In 2013 we tore out the slab completely and re-poured a whole new slab and installed new tile without charge. She still wasn't happy. Honestly, we've tried everything we know to make her happy. I don't know what more we could do."

I had contacted at least 3 contractors prior to Charisma Construction. They came out, looked at the job and never came back. I found Charisma construction on Angie's List and figured I would give them a try. Once I requested a quote on their website, I was contacted 15 minutes later. They sent someone out the next day to look at the job. I received a quote 5 days later -- I requested two different quotes for the same job (each for different materials). Once we decided on the materials that we wanted, the job started quickly. We got the quote on May 21st, we were introduced to the job foreman on the 22nd, materials were delivered for the job on the 23rd and work began on the 27th. The job was completed on June 2nd and it met all of our expectations. Their response time was excellent and the job was completed in a timely manner.

The crew at Charisma were very helpful from the beginning to the end. They prepared an estimate iin a very timely manner and the estimate was very fair. They hepled me with planning the addition and the remodel. The work was top notch and completed timely. They were always available to answer any questions I had. I would definately use them again.

Everthing went well. James and his crew were always punctual and professional, when i had any questions James and Char were always available by phone ( which in the Valley is unheard of and that i appreciate ) to answer any questions regarding the job at hand. All in all a great job.
