The owner of this company made a bid on an electric heat pump. He was very pleasant, but my mom accepted another bid for service. When that bid failed, my mom asked him to come back to confirm the bid and to complete the service. She explained to him why the accepted bid had failed and that she wanted to do business with him. His tone became disrespectful and unprofessional. He immediately discounted the bad experience she had with the other company and indicated that there was more to the story than she was saying. It is difficult to have an implication of that nature when others could confirm the bad experience she had with other company. Everyone makes mistakes ( even companies) and he should have treated her with more respect. He also told her that he would enter the electric box by making a hole in the wall( which he would not repair). For the record, she found a company that installed a new unit correctly without cutting holes in the wall to connect the electricity.
