Though my house was 15 years old it never had cable. The gentleman came to my house as scheduled. He ran into several problems trying to get my on cable. But he took his time and made sure it all worked before he left. And he gave me his number if I had any problems. I had one the beginning of this year with on demand but called suddenlink directly since I couldn't find his number. Suddenlink was able to help me within minutes. Any time I have called Suddenlink or gone into their business, they are always friendly and helpful.

I was an ATand T customer for many years but the reliability was terrible and the price continued to rise. The speed with ATand T internet was terrible. ATand T made an appointment to come out, the earlier they could come out was seven days, between 8:00am and 8:00pm. They never showed. I called Suddenlink on a Friday evening and they did my install on Saturday! The customer service is local, not overseas.

months went by where I was unable to attain signal, I had to tighten the wire connections myself still there was poor signal. Additionally, instead of routing the cable wires through the attic, they routed them under the eaves outside, having those black ugly wires routed outside under the eaves is an eyesore to look at daily...

He was a very pushy salesman and did everything he could to get us to sign up for suddenlink services, telling me he could save me money on the bundle we had: tv, telephone, internet and maybe even security too. I told him the same thing I had the day before: that customer service is so horrible I would be afraid of their services. He said he would guarantee it would get installed. I told him that it would not be of help since if we had a problem, they may never come back to fix it. He told me he could save on the tv by switching to their cable and dropping all of my exrtras, like showtime, hbo, etc. I told him I didn't want to drop them. He said I should as I probably never used them. HUH? Then he said he could get me a good internet price. When I saw it was the slowest speed he said Oh. I probably don't need the faster one anyway. I think he would have said ANYTHING to get me to sign up. Of course, we didn't. My husband flat out told him NO, we are NOT interested. He hasn't been back since, thank goodness.
