"After walking the roof and crawling around in the attic for about an hour I came to two areas of concern. The turbine directly above the problem and the insanely large rain diverter above your A/C units. FYI, the rain diverter should maybe be two to three inches and this thing was maybe eight to ten inches. I told you we needed to get rid of the diverter and caulk the turbine for good measure. You chose to leave the curb size rain diverter where it was and caulk the turbine. Now we know the rain diverter is where the water is getting in. I can come out and take care of that no problem."

I called C & H roofing after discovering a leak in one of the bathrooms in my house during a heavy rainstorm. They arrived punctually, went to the roof to inspect it, after being shown the leaky ceiling in the bathroom. He told be that defective "boot jacks" were the cause of the problem, and initially recommended that I file an insurance claim-which I did.And after the adjuster inspected my roof and spoke with Rob Lamar from C & H, it was determined that the roof damage was not sufficient to warrant an insurance claim. Ok, good. That following Friday, Rob Lamar, from C & H returned to do the work. He and his partner went up on the roof, and repaired all the "boot jacks." The job didn't take more than an hour, and the final cost was $300.00, just as Rob Lamar had said it would be during the initial roof inspection. We have had rain since the roof repair, and the bathroom ceiling has shown no further evidence of leaking. All appears to have gone satisfactorily, and I am very pleased.

Rob bid on the job (he was already scheduled for a Big Deal roof inspection) the day after the ceiling collapse. He used particle board, at my request. His bid was reasonable but as importantly he could do the work that week. I feared further ceiling collapses. Jose and Pepe arrived when promised. Both were fabulous, Jose was very professional and knowledgeable. He did have to return to address door opener malfunction, which he did on a Saturday. Found the problem (staple in wire when replaced on ceiling) and all is functional again.
Overall a positive experience. Rob clearly branches out to other areas than just the roof.
